The beds were rock hard and pillows weren’t nice but everything else was nice.

Really nice setting in nature which was silent at night which is rare in capurgana. The hosts are really nice and helpful. The outside shower is really cool.

The Hostal is located on the beautiful garden. You will see monkeys and birds around. Our room was spacious. The stuff took care of us. The breakfast was delicious.

A short 10mins te walk from town but google didn’t know how to get to the property which made it a little difficult but locals helped us find the place! 😁

Loved the shower it gave you privacy while also seeing the jungle!

Beds have plastic sheet around them. They have a kitchen but you have to pay for using it, also boiling water costs. Not sure if all the staff really like to be working with tourist. Dorm is quite dark. I send them a message to ask directions in booking.com chat but they never answered but still send me the check in link in the same chat.

Clean dorm with normal beds (no bunk beds). Beautifull outdoor shower and hammocks to chill. Soap in the toilet. Small breakfast is included and they have 3 cute dogs. Location is amazing, 10 minute walk from the center so it's quiet and at night time it feels like you are sleeping in the jungle.

Bit of a walk to town through not the nicest looking roads... didn't feel great at night. Horrible plastic on the mattress... Beds were rock hard too

Loved the rainforest vibe. Nice to be away from the carnage of capurgana. Outdoor Shower was a nice touch... Breakfast was nice but small

I have been travelling for 6 months and I have started to really dislike places that don’t offer free drinkable water when the area doesn’t have drinkable tap water. they offer water but you have to pay for it. It was also overall a little expensive.

Really nice hostel, amazing location in the jungle but it’s a 10 minute walk into the town. Which is not far, but just for awareness. Breakfast was included which is a huge bonus.

It is a bit out of the town so you have to walk around 10 minutes to get there from the city center.

The hostal is very nice surrounded by a beautiful garden. The breakfast was very good. The bathroom is awesome! Very quiet.

    nothing!

a lot of the reviews of this property here are very misleading. we originally didn’t book it because several people said that the place was too far from town/you had to walk a considerable amount to get there. THATS NOT TRUE. we ended up stayed at Bohemia for two days (which was fine) but moved because the town itself is impossibly loud and blasts music until 4am when the power is cut. Acuali was blissfully quiet, cheaper, the breakfast included and WAY better. this place is set right up against the nature preserve so yes you do have to walk…like 5 minutes further. everything in Capurgana is a walk and I promise you won’t regret it. we saw toucans and monkeys from our balcony hammocks in the garden and wish we had stayed there longer. also the outdoor shower is a colorful mosaic and beautiful.

The property is amazing, set in the rainforest but just a short walk to town and to the beach. It’s much quieter than properties in town, where the sound of generators and motorcycles is constant. Our hosts Mauricio and Sorida were fantastic!

There were 3 teneagers at the place (apparently relatives of the house keeper) who were interrumptimg the calmness of the place with a noisy mobile (listening loudly music) and the worst!: recording us without any permission. We tried to contact the manager to understand who they were and there were no response. Location is beautiful and seemed it was built properly but the lack of maintenance is evident.

Location in a very beautiful natural environment and close to town facilities

The beds are a little on the hard side but I slept fine to the lovely sounds of the jungle. If you don't like dogs you might not like this hostel.

The hostel is situated on edge of the beautiful jungle. It is very quiet and peaceful compared to the town just 10 minutes away. The husband and wife running it are delightful and extremely helpful especially the husband. The breakfast in the morning is a great start aswell.

But the beds are horrible... Really hard matrasses, like sleeping on a plank. Reason for me to never book this place again...

The location of the hostel is beautiful, in the jungle!
