Perfect location in a nice looking hotel, with kind and helpful personnel. Good breakfast. Probably the best douche we ever had in a hotel.

Breakfast was excellent. A wide variety of food. Location of hotel is excellent. Strategic location. Tourist sites and food joints all nearby. The twin bedded room we had was very comfortable and clean and had all the necessities. The staff at the hotel Ms Wang, Ms Chai, Ms Bella and an old uncle who helped serve breakfast were such wonderful, helpful, cheerful people. I enjoyed chatting with them "although in my poor mandarin". The hotel is like a beautiful mini museum with many porcelain figurines and pictures and helpful english text.

Nothing our experience was excellent

The staff here were absolutely incredible. My partner and I had to change our plans because of family reasons and they were so incredibly helpful, kind and generous. We were just so grateful for their help they truly helped us so much. The room, location and hotel were beautiful too, will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Perfect position, in the middle of the ancient site of Datong city. The traditional architecture, it looks like an old rural/mountain big cottage, but very comfortable inside, with sleek rooms. The staff is welcoming. Outside the hotel there is a very good restaurant where you can eat the best food in Datong. I went to Datong too visit Yungang grottoes. I didn’t expect that Datong city was so beautiful!!

Fantastic hotel and very good. Value for money. Staff was very useful and kind. The room was perfect, we especially enjoyed the nice bathroom and comfortable bed and pillows.

The room was quite big, but the bathroom was very small and got clogged really fast. However, the staff was helpful and in 5 mins resolved the issue. Many western tourists, maybe due to booking algorithm.

The staff was exceptional. the location incredibile in the very city center, but at the same time quiet.

We found it difficult to find the hotel on arrival, but people in the streets and shops arround help, could help if they add a sign in english. It was a bit noisy at night and the beds could be more comfortable

Location in the city center was amazing, lots of amenities included in the room, breakfast is buffet and a mix continental-asian that works. Staff was very kind but not english speakers, you can comunicate with them with google translate and they help with taxis and day trips arround (price was fair and much cheaper than booking it in any websites)

The hotel is located in the ancient city of Datong. Hotel itself has a rich history. Great stay!

Only this which was difficult was the noise from outside : there was a restaurant shouting ticket numbers and it was quite loud!

Location is fabulous and staff could not be more helpful! Clean and spacious room. Super breakfast.

Great location close to all attractions in the Old Town. Love that it is situated in a beautiful quiet alley just behind the Old Mosque. Staying there felt like travelling back in time 🌷 The Buddha Caves are out of town, but just half an hour away by taxi.

The hotel / rooms are clean and have beautiful decorations and design of local culture with plenty of ancient artefacts. The location is very central. The manager Bella speaks very good English and was helpful for planning our visits. The price/quality is fair, and we would recommend staying in this hotel.

No lift and lots of stairs to rooms, but a very minor weakness! The hotel is beautiful.

Great location, all major attractions in walking distance. Grottoes 20 minute taxi ride away. Staff extremely welcoming and spoke good English. Rooms clean and beds very comfortable. Great stay!
