The breakfast had no variety.

This was my favorite city of the trip! The hotel staff spoke good English and were very welcoming. The hotel was located on the edge of one of the main lakes and was about a 20-minute walk from the attractions in the city.

Unfortunately, there is currently no dinner option available there as there is no chef available for the next few months as I've been told.

The stuff was extremely friendly and my wife and I had a great time there. They also helped us to organized several last minute bookings and taxi for the yangshuo River tour which I highly recommend. Daily tea and a Chinese tea set in the room was amazing.

We had a great stay at Aroma Tea House hotel. Beautiful place decorated with art collections. Staff are helpful and friendly. The staff helped us with sightseeing ideas and transportation arrangement before our arrival. Communications before our arrival and upon our stay have been good and smooth. Spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast is a mix of Chinese and International food. Laundry service is available with extra fees. We appreciated the help from the staff for dining options. The hotel also provides foreign currency exchange service with no extra fees.

It is a decent walk to the pedestrianised area which can be very crowded to navigate through.

The hotel was authentic and a delight to stay at. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The Latin is next to the lake and reasonably close to local attractions.

Some small things that couldn't ruin our stay: there is no fridge in the room, European sockets worked, but a plug doesn't hold well, no wardrobe (but there is a small hanger).

The best staff I have ever met: so nice and kind, so helpful and they speak English. Before we came, they provided very detailed information about excursions which they can organize. We booked a trip to the Rice Terrace and Li-river cruise to Yangsho (I can recommend both, it's very beautiful places!). We didn't have to worry about organisational details, we were told where, when and how we should go and we able to enjoy the trips. Another small but nice touch: during check-in, the air conditioning was turned on in our room, so once all the formalities were completed, the room was pleasantly cool - very pleasant after the afternoon hit. They also gave us a map of the city, showed us interesting places and recommended places to eat. The room itself was big and clean with a panoramic window where you can sit and enjoy tea using the provided Chinese tea-set. The hotel restaurant is located on the fifth floor and has an incredible view of the river and mountains. Also, outside of the room there is a terrace where you can air and dry clothes. The hotel is decorated in a traditional style, but at the same time it is equipped with all modern amenities and is very comfortable. Location is very good: close enough to walk to many different points of interest and food-street.

-beautiful property, very well-maintained, with numerous amazing antiques and art-work throughout -large room, with big windows overlooking the lake and a great nook for enjoying a cup of tea; thorough cleaning and fresh towels daily -lovely staff who were always available for questions and to provide assistance and help. They also helped us organize trips to the rice terraces and the Li river cruise, as well as transport to and from the airport and everything went smoothly and we very much enjoyed both trips with no stress! -there is the option to get a massage - do it, great massage particularly if you enjoy a "harder" touch.

Central located, beautiful Chinese decoration, high cleaning standards and very comfortable rooms. The staffing is very kind and can do nearly everything for you to make your stay enjoyable. I had a great stay in Guilin thanks to them. They organised for us airport pick-up and drop-off, river Li Cruise, massages, booking for tours

We are traveling on a budget so this hotel is more expensive than we should be paying ... But for us, it was worth every penny! The rooms and corridors, reception and breakfast room are full of works of art. It is spacious and the room looks out over trees to the park, and you walk out onto the lake and immediately come across the bridges, pagodas, etc. Good English (if that's what you want) and a buffet breakfast. A little bit of quality and luxury but with a touch of a boutique hotel rather than a mega hotel. And very close, just 7 mins, to the central Guilin station.

Th location is perfect, right next to the lakes. We had a massage there that was nice and cheap (expect it on the harder side). They organized all the drivers for us and also the Li River Cruise. Very satisfied, thank you!

Beautiful rooms with comfortable seating/tea area. Bathroom really lovely too. Air con cold and very welcomed in the heat of Guilin. Cold drinks (and cold beer) available at reception, but its not far to find a convenience store selling everything. Plenty of joints to eat at nearby. Breakfast was a great mix of east and west, the coffee good and the view very nice. The nicest accom we have stayed at in China and Hong Kong for our budget.

Just like other top-tier hotels that receive the best reviews, we loved location and outstanding service at Aroma Tea House. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and addressed any of our concerns swiftly. In addition, we really like the room with views and wonderful decorations and furniture- really a museum experience.
