United StatesThere was a large group headed to Antartica that prevented us from having dinner or cocktails in the dining room on Sunday night. The same group had to return and were again given preference over the regular guests. I understand we need to all be flexible during these difficult times but not being able to use the facilities seemed a bit silly.
We were in 810 and 811 on the top floor with ocean views. The windows were small, but they told us that would be the case. The room was large and well equipped with a small sitting area. Staff were all very helpful and all front desk staff spoke English. They were also knowledgeable about the COVID requirements for guests leaving Chile and did print out our documents and negative tests. The breakfast was plentiful. Room service was quick, affordable and tasty.

United StatesNo A/C, but I was able to open the windows to cool the room. Bed was great but I wanted a much softer pillow which they did not have. No ironing board and iron in the room, but they were able to supply it. No refrigerator in the room, but I uncharacteristically didn’t need it on this trip.
Great view of the water, comfortably spacious lobby and restaurant, great attitude and helpfulness from the staff, terrific food and good communication prior to my trip.

United StatesThe rooms were hot, even with the heat in the room turned off. Sleeping with the window open wasn't an option due to noise from the street. I was with a group and several of the guests had the same experience. The wifi was spotty at best in some guest rooms. This was a problem when I went to do my video monitored COVID test for my return flight. Luckily, the wifi in the lobby was fast and reliable.
The hotel was located centrally. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly: The front desk staff happily accommodated my request for a different room. The restaurant was comfortable with good service. Breakfast was great--there was a wide variety of hot and cold food choices.

IrelandEVERYTHING else was poor. The lift was a little run down, and all went downhill from there. The room was small and pokey, it was also like an over. Absolutely the hottest hotel room that I've been in. Hallways were stuffy, radiators all on full and windows in the luft area open above blasting radiators. I opened the window in the bedroom, now you cannot close the curtains properly. The floor is radiating heat also. We spent two nights there and hardly slept, open window gives you street noise, and sunshine through the curtains. Lastly, the person in this world who decided it would save whatever tiny amount of money to put a duvet between two sheets and call that a made bed. Those people deserve a special place in hell. You get about an hour in bed before some manky duvet that hundreds of humans have slept in is rubbing against your body. You know they clean the sheets, but they don't clean the duvet often. I spent 11 nights in a brilliant Airbnb and spent more cash in the two nights I spent in the hotel to treat my wife after her climb in Antartica. A huge waste of money. Also, breakfast is terrible.
The lobby looks like a 5 star hotel, very impressive and clean.
