Location was great, easy close access to other restaurants, a bakery and convenience store, and bus stop right outside resort. Tropical breakfast was everything you need for a continental breakfast. Staff go above and beyond to help and make your stay enjoyable, along with a lot of knowledge of local sights to visit. Reception ladies were extremely friendly, kind and caring. Facilities at the resort - two pools, restaurant and private beach well maintained, clean and great to have options.

The reef is not too far from the shore and the waves were quite strong while we were there, making it a bit hard for us to try and snorkel there as we are not the most proficient swimmers. Not our recommended place to swim and snorkel, but definitely has a good view from the beach. Other very good snorkeling locations are not too far away, it was a few min drive to the Lagoonorium, where we saw the biggest schools of fish ever.

This place was great value for money. The room size and amenities were ideal for us because we wanted to cook and have some meals at the hotel to save money. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Some of the snorkeling gear we borrowed was a bit old, but we replaced them with no issues. The breakfast was okay, but not great. Did not have eggs or any warm food, and decaf coffee was not available without additional pay. The view from the beach is stunning, the sunset was amazing to see from the left side of the hotel, we really enjoyed that view.

Only down side was the complementary breakfast, would have loved it if there was more than just fruit, cereal, toast and coffee

Breakfast is yummy but quite simple. Some more options like pastries would be a good addition!

Beautiful resort, AMAZING STAFF who go out of their way to help you. Location is beautiful, nice and close to Blackrock which has wonderful snorkelling. Perfect location for sunsets!

As we were with a big group the staff bent over backwards to help us get into restaurants and shows. The staff are so friendly.

There was nothing we didn't like about the resort. The roosters may annoy some people ... if they do, you can close the shutters and use aircon ... we preferred not to as liked fresh air and didn't notice them after the first morning. Yes Restaurant on site is leased out and while quite good has room for improvement (not long since Rarotonga has opened up again so I am sure will fine tune things). We did have some lovely food and some average food. Music night was fun.

The resort was just the right size. We had a beach front room which was perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The reception staff were particularly lovely. Loved being so close to the sea which was warm. (Best to have reef shoes as there are rocky bits). Loved the hammocks to read in.There were also two pools which were nice to lie around and swim in. Also we checked out at 10am but were able to lie around the pool and beach and then use the showers (with towels and shampoo provided) by the pool before catching 2pm shuttle. Happy hour at the bar was great too.

Wifi had weak signal in rooms but was a generous data amount for not much money

We are returning Sunset guests. The rooms are extra spacious with very comfortable beds and generous balconies.Two separate pools never crowded.All the meals at the Anchorage restaurant were delicious..we stayed in for two dinners being seafood and roast nights,reccomended. Bonus being at least 5 excellent local restaurants are walking distance away,and islandcar hire, plus bakery and shop over the road. We snorkelled at a few 'fish hotspots' but actually found the reef right outside the resort to have great fish numbers and clear water ..on tide turn..with colorful coral. And even very warm water, we were lucky to witness whales breaching 100 meters away. And lastly of course the staff here are a credit to the resort everyone so friendly and helpful especially Tina on reception.

reef too close to surface so difficult to snorkel unless tide at highest. coral pretty dead but still some nice juvenile fish to see.

WiFi was quite expensive compared to other places on the island. Air conditioning unit wasn’t very powerful, and I was woken up at 4am every morning by the resident cockerel!

The staff were very friendly and made an effort to remember guest names and room numbers. Great location - it was lovely to watch the sunset on the beach hammocks. Also nice to have the choice of two pools.
