Not the best beach for swimming but Rarotonga island is small enough it’s not difficult to find a fabulous beach nearby.

Small resort style property with restaurant and bar. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food was good. Bus stop outside the door. Walkable to ATM , dairy and a few other dining options.

The water system turns off at night, so any night-time ablutions cannot be flushed until the system is turned on in the morning.

The location is great, close to town and there's always a bit of excitement at sunset. The continental breakfast provided to the rooms is satisfactory and housekeeping do a great job.

I did not have water for over 12 hours. Breakfast is a basket with bread and cereal in your room and they don’t clean the dishes you use. I thought it was not great value for money option.

The restaurant was good and the staff at restaurant very friendly, especially Minnie!

I was spoilt in Aitutaki where the accommodation provided bikes and facilitated scooter rental (dropped to door!) so I was disappointed the reception staff were less helpful here. The bus outside the door is handy, but bikes or scooters would make it much easier to get around.

The staff in Wilson's were superb. Special mention for the wonderful Minnie.

Parking on street. Couldn't drink tap water, but they did have a free tap to fill your water bottle at the restaurant.

It was a very nice room, just a bit small and no indoor area to eat, but a nice patio table overlooking the pool. Breakfast was self catering, where they provided a muesli cereal, milk, loaf of bread, jam and butter, and fruit juice, as the restaurant didn't open until 2pm (earlier Sunday brunch). The restaurant staff were very friendly and meals good. A fair amount of outsiders came for sunset drinks and meals. Very clean r[ms.

Wasn't really anything we didn't like about the Resort itself; it was as advertised - first time travellers might not know about the "wandering dogs" on the island though which did wake you up sometimes barking in the early hours of the morning but nothing major and not a reflection on the Resort or the facilities offered as they wander all around the island.

Very clean facility and we got more than the standard "top up" of condiments when we needed them, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the 2-bedroom apartment was exactly as advertised and worked for the 4 of us (all adults) very spacious. The restaurant was lovely - right on the beach and had amazing sunsets (again as advertised), the food was great, generous sizes and well-priced as was the cocktails too. The local bus has a stop right outside the Resort, so this makes it super easy to make your way around the island if you haven't hired a car or scooter and the Supermarket was a short 10-minute drive/ride away. Check in and out was also super easy and Wi-Fi packages are available to purchase (we had no issues with ours). Great value for money and you definitely get what is advertised in their brief (not mis-leading).

Restaurant not open until 2pm. Not sure where the free kayaks and snorkel gear were located.

Sheltered side of island. It was blowing a gale almost everywhere else (Muri / Aroa) yet our spot was perfect. Beautiful sandy beach. Great swimming and snorkelling straight off the beach. Amazing sunsets. Lovely staff. Great cocktails. Spacious rooms. Great housekeeping. Excellent location, bus stop outside.

Cont breaky in room, would much prefer restaurant with more selection, freshfruit, yogurt etc.. No GF Cereal or bread on arrival after asking re this prior week.

I think offering a discount on the food for guests staying at Castaways could be great.

The staff were amazing and I liked the breakfast on offer. It was handy having Wilson's restaurant there for when we didn't have dinner planned, the food there was delicious.

A little dingy in appearance from the outside, but nice and fresh on the inside.

Clean and serviced daily. Nice bathroom with toiletries. Friendly staff who had no issues with giving clean beach towels. Day beds with cushions available on the beach

Kitchen abit tired, one pot and one pan...so if you intend to cook, think again for a big family. They couold spruse things up around the pool and pathways, just abit of a sweep and clean.

Room was great, spacious and had all we needed for a family of 4. Close to the main town, drivable, staff wewre super helpful and accommodating.

Beach House could do with an update. Insect screens not fitting properly on windows and sliding door. Couches outdated and uncomfortable

Adequate breakfast. Great location for sunset, bar, local bus. Staff were very friendly, great service. Excellent food and cocktails. Very close to beach. Beach House had full laundry facilities.

Ackniwkedge that we were on an island holiday to 'get away' from the day to day 😀 however we paid for WiFi access - but were unable to connect in our room -and had to stand outside the office to connect to the WiFi hotspot. This made listening to music challenging and booking experiences/banking difficult.

I am a bit big and found getting in and out of the shower difficult. I'm trying to loose weight. The walk to the bar and restaurant with a walking stick was slow as I didn't want to fall.

The service was good, Minnie explained the different question we were asking.

The lagoon is too shallow for a proper swim or snorkel (although we did try it once).

Relaxed atmosphere in the resort, especially the restaurant that overlooks the beach. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Sunsets are great from the resort

Communal areas are looking a bit tired. Pool wasn’t particularly clean. Breakfast was meagre - limited fruit, cereal, toast, tea and coffee.

Awesome staff, extremely helpful and kind. Room itself was really nice, well decorated, modern, comfortable bed. Kitchenette was useful to have - particularly a fridge for cold drinks. Air conditioning worked very well.
