We had to wire the accommodation tax amount to the owner and this was tricky as the credit suisse branch had no cashier so we had to send the money via international bank and the charges added 50% to the amount. We could have been charged via booking.com. Other than that, everything was great.

Super clean and comfortable apartment. 1 min walk from the bus stop. Perfect for families. We stayed there for one week with two young kids and we really liked it.

Nothing. But there is something that can be improved. The stairs are quite slippery if you just come back during winter because the bottom of your boots are usually wet. It will be good if some form of anti-slip can be installed. Other than that, I am really very pleased with the whole experience.

I love the fact that I could see the Matterhorn from the balcony. On the last night, when the sky was clear, I could see so many stars from the balcony. It was amazing. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals for the family. I am not sure if Disney plus was given by the host but the TV had Disney plus so we had movie night after dinner to rest. Since it has the Matterhorn view, it is obviously away from the main train station. However, there is a bus from the train station to the apartment. It was very convenient. But most days, we chose to walk up and down to and from the apartment because it was just a nice routine taking in the view. There's a playground nearby. And as you walk down towards the train station, you will pass by many shops that you can just patronize. I love Zermatt and I especially love my stay in this apartment. Oh yes, just outside the apartment, there is an area where there's just snow everywhere and it is knee deep. My family loved playing there. When we got too cold, we could just go back into the house. It was fantastic.

It is a bit of a hike up, but that meant we got some exercise and were able to get away from the crowds.

We had the first floor apartment. It was very well equipped, spacious and comfortable with beautiful views of the Matterhorn from both inside and from the balcony. In short it was lovely and one of the best apartments we have stayed in. Located in Winkelmatten to the south and a bit above the village centre of Zermatt we found the free red-line elecktrobus, which started at the railway station, ideal. The 'Kapelle' stop (Winkelmatten chapel) is no more than 100 metres from 'La Vallee'.

WiFi was a little slow (we had lots of photos to upload haha), everything else was perfect

10/10, exceeded all expectations. The keys were left in a mailbox with a code which was easy to retrieve. The view in the front yard is a stunning view of the Matterhorn. It is a huge apartment with a bedroom, living room, and full kitchen including an espresso maker and full refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable, shower was great. 5 minute walk to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise gondola. 15 minute walk or short cab ride to the train station and the Gornergratbahn. Would definitely stay here again next time.

The apartment is big enough and cozy. Excellent equipped kitchen, good quality of coffee machine. Clean kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable beds. It was very pleasant to receive a welcome gift from the owner - local beers. Free bus goes 6-8 minutes to the center of Zermatt, bus station is 1 minute walk from the apartment. Walk distance to the center of Zermatt - 15-20 minutes.

The apartment was such a gem. Very clean and spacious, I think one of the best apartment I’ve ever stayed in. It was well equipped with cutlery and other kitchen items. The view in the Matterhorn is amazing. It’s situated 20 minutes walk from the city center — but worth it. I will come back for sure.

There was no supermarket nearby which meant hiking down and back up the hill with the groceries. Bus service to Winkelmatten area could be more frequent.

Very nice, quiet appartment. Perfectly equipped, everything was there (TV, toaster, fondue, coffee machine, coffee capsules ....). Walking distance (5 min) to Matterhorn express (This also means 15 - 20 minutes walking distance to the centre of Zermatt, but we prefer a nice afternoon/evening walk to long walks with the ski boots in the morning) Plus: a beautiful view of the Matterhorn from the living room and the terrace.
