The staff really make this place, as they were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Bar right down stairs so don’t need to go far for a pint.

Some members of my group had some mobility challenges and the stairs were very hard for them (but it is only three levels). I loved that the bathtubs were so deep—but for short people with bad knees—the tub was too difficult to get in and out. If you have no difficulties with stairs or mobility challenges I recommend a different option)

The rooms were quiet and so clean! Great location for going to see the falls and restaurants were so close. The staff was great—Irene was so gracious and wonderful to work with—it’s clear that she has a passion for making it a wonderful experience for travelers!

The smoking in the bar and outside of the bar. Even though there was no smoking in the hotel the smell was pretty strong in the hallway and up to the stairs.

German was the main language but they tried hard to speak English. Location was great only a short distance to the falls.and the bus stopped across the street. Supermarket was a 5 minute walk away. We found it easy to get around.

We could not have breakfast because there is no gluten free option (I received a refund - which is greatly appreciated). The room is nice but the curtain was torn and without the option of darkening. The TV was connected by electrical cables on the floor. And we had to move the refrigerator to the nearest electricity point. There is no elevator to the room.

the location - not far from the waterfall walking by foot. There is a free public parking space for the night in the other side of the road.

The rooms are officially non-smoker, but the restaurant below is very much smoky, as it is for smokers, and the smell finds its way through the staircase. It is bad that one cannot book and secure a parking in advance; and the parking as such required skills to ''shoehoorn'' any serious car. Window was toward the parking; and the place may get hot in real summer.

Very large room with room with abundant and large storage facilities and very little fridge and small bathroom. It is in Switzerland, of course, and Switzerland is very, very expensive, and so, when compared to othher locations, this one was expensive, too, but when compared to Switzerland, it was at the lower end of the range. The looks of the place weren't truely splendid, but everything fulfilled its purpose.

Small breakfast that is the same thing every day. The hotel is connected to a smoking bar. Even at breakfast people are smoking in that room. That's where you eat breakfast and walk into the hotel every day. Although the signs say no smoking in the hotel part, we smelled smoke in the room and stairwells. The chair in the room needs to be replaced.

Close to the Rhein falls. The staff was nice. We had a balcony. There was a parking spot.

I don't have any dislikes...🤔...No...I can't think of any.... I would definitely stay here again...It is kind of like a Home Away from Home...The personalities made it so!

I recommend this Hotel! All of the Staff..were great...and happy,.no frowning..helpful and responsive....Ms. Irène Tanner, the manager was Beautiful to say the least...Kind and Professional....and Helen greeted me when I arrived with great assistance and kindness... The room and bathroom was the largest room that I have had in Europe in this price range....Very Clean...The online pictures are accurate... The location is a beautiful 10 minute walk to Rhine Falls. The Bus lines that service Schaufhausen and the surrounding areas and the Main Train Station literally stop right across the street....The COOP Supe rmarket (great supermarket) and the Post Office are 1 block away...Also, the Train stop Neuhausen is about 7 blocks away so when you check out and if you are traveling light, you can walk there and hop on the Trainline..and bust a move... This little Hotel is perfect for the price and location if you coming to Schaufhausen while touring Switzerland on a budget and time sensitive. I'm here for a month trying to absorb enough to make the next trip to Switzerland focused and yet more expansive. This stay was a Great Deal!
