TOO Much construction noise, view was good but need to trim tree, man at breakfast seemed like we worked for him... he was not friendly, and but he was very efficient for hotel..we were there too be a little pampered and enjoy the Matterhorn... not be treated like we worked for him...we plan to return but maybe a different hotel

Great value for money and they really think about every little detail to make your stay comfortable and to have a local experience. Everything is of high quality and I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a great balance of experiencing an physical outdoor holiday but also likes the balance of some little luxuries.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful spa facilities, relaxation silent room was spacious and relaxing, the pool is nice quality with plenty of lounge chairs, there's also separate outdoor sauna / hot tubs. Nice large rooms and front desk always friendly and willing to help out. Located in a quieter area of Zermatt and shuttles are available if you don't want to do the 7 minute walk from the main station.

One drawback was the remainder of the spa, outside of the pool and family hot tub, was only able to be accessed naked. I appreciate why they have stipulated this but it felt very uncomfortable and people using it were covered in towels which sort of defeats the object.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in - a design double- was incredibly comfortable and spacious with a lovely comfortable bed. There are also different options for pillows which was great as I use a memory foam pillow which they could provide. The spa is very nice.the swimming pool is very clean and good length if you want to have a proper swim. The family hot tub is fantastic. We went half board and the food was really tasty and the menu very varied.

Honestly, I enjoyed everything about the hotel. The only quasi negative was probably the dinner we had at the hotel. It was fine but far from great.

The breakfast, spa and service was all excellent. The room was a fine size for my two children and me; had a nice bathroom and an appropriate amount of linens. Also, the ski locker in the hotel was outstanding. Very nice to be able to hang your boots, gloves, etc. in an air circulating environment so everything is dry the next day. Overall a great experience and we'll definitely be staying here again when we return to Zermatt.

Not a lot.

The room was comfortable and had a skylight window with views of the mountains. There is an outdoor hot tub, and it is fun to sit and relax in the hot water at the end of the day with snow falling on your face. The indoor swimming pool is not too warm but good for swimming laps for exercise. The hotel has a very good ski gear storage area with good lockers to fit skis., poles, boots, helmets and gloves. the hooks that hold the boots, etc. allow them to dry out overnight.

The breakfast had a decent choice but the eggs were awful. Even when you ordered from the ‘fresh’ menu, the eggs were overcooked - the scrambled eggs anyway. It would also take forever for them to come. I also found the main guy at breakfast quite brusque and not particularly friendly. We were ‘upgraded’ to an alpine chic room, which when you pulled out the sofa bed for our son, meant that there was hardly any room to get by the bed - like literally squeezing by - to get into the bathroom, due to the large tub in the middle of the room; so we didn’t love that and would not want that room again, as a family of 3.

Fabulous pool & wellness area. Also enjoyed the lobby are with the pianist in the evening, though only used it once.

There is no ski in and ski out so walking to hotel little tyring. It would be better if Zermatt hotels have shuttle services to restaurants or ski areas. Buses were very crowded. You should book your table for good restaurants even before your holiday.

Hotel situation was very good for social events such as bars, restaurants and shops. Cigar bar was very cosy and useful. Nora from reception was excellent on her work. Also all of others were helpful.

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a snug and pleasant atmosphere. While the family room has a compact layout, it remains comfortable, and the interior is beautifully designed.
