movable air-condition that hardly worked with a lot of noise the extra bad (for the kid) was cracking and every move the kid did at night waked us up.. basic breakfast

Air conditioning in all three rooms we occupied did not work properly and made a lot of noise. We took the Hotel shuttle back to the airport and there was no air condition (on a very hot day...) 😒

Hot items in the breakfast area could have been a bit warmer (eggs and sausage, bacon items). The elevator was a bit small but there were two as well as the stairs.

The location of this hotel was very good. The hotel was in the old district close to great restaurants, shops and cultural sites. The tram that runs through the city was easy to use to get to farther away destinations. The breakfast buffet was very good and had lots of options and on the lone nice day, breakfast was available on the deck. The hotel has a library and a family room with a large TV for children. There was also a coffee and water bar in this room which we liked as an option to our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful arranging a cab ride to the airport for us on our last day and we were also able to check in earlier than the scheduled time. We would like to shout out to the woman that worked in the breakfast room- very friendly and cheerful to all guests. Keep up the great work!

Lovely midsized boutique hotel. Rooms are comfortable and decently sized. Well appointed bathrooms. You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s right in the middle of the old town with restaurants and shops all around. The tram lines run very closeby as well. Good breakfast buffet onsite.

The window had a broken glass that should have been fixed before assigning the room. It would be great if all the rooms were equipped with plug converters for people coming from outside Switzerland. Since the room window opens to a public terrace, I would also appreciate more safety (once you open the window anyone would be able to enter the room, so opening was never an option, even when it was hot and we needed fresh air).

I loved the view from the window and the fact that this is in the middle of the old town, only steps from everything, it felt very safe and welcoming. I appreciated the breakfast and the fan as it was a bit hot.

It will be perfect if the hotel can fix fly screen on the windows, otherwise you wouldn't want to open the windows as flying insects will come and live with you. Bathroom should install a suction fan for removing the steam while showering.

Hotel is located in the old town, very well located, close to many restaurants (Chinese, Swiss, Italian and fast food), shopping, bars, attractions, all within the walking radius of 200m. Room is cleaned every morning and bath sheets changed everyday. Good 24/7 resting lounge for hotel guests, provide coffee, tea and drinking water.

Light switches very confusing. Turning off lights in bed area, automatically turned off bathroom lights. Not even the front desk knew how to resolve, explain light switches. Very strange

When we stayed there, there was the road construction and our driver could not drop us at the hotel.

Getting to the hotel with a suitcase is a hassle especially over the cobblestones.

We arrived very early in flight from Australia and reasonably enough our room was not ready. However by early afternoon as the receptionist was aware we thought an effort may have been made to bring it forward by a hour or two. She had to check our name every time we asked and came across as most begrudging and not that interested. After that we didn’t engage too much with asking advice from reception. Easier to do our own research. Luckily we were able to sit in the library to wait in between walking the old town etc etc. The light switching in the room was appalling- you need a degree to work it out!

Location location location! So easy to access public transport and main sites. Surrounded by a mix of restaurants. Breakfast was good with range of choices. Service prompt efficient and cheerful.

Bathroom a little small and very noisy outside with all the bars and restaurants surrounding it.

Great location in the heart of old town but it can be very noisy on the weekends so bring some earplugs! The superior room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff and an amazing breakfast!

The rooms need some updating - a fresh coat of paint in the ceilings and trim areas would make a big difference in the appearance.

Very centrally located in Old Town and near many restaurants and shopping and only a 10-15 minute walk to the train station. The hotel was very clean and the staff quite welcoming, friendly and helpful. We also loved the lobby/library area where you could rest, have espresso and relax. Breakfast was also delicious!!

The in-room air conditioning could be better.

My family of 4 stayed at the hotel for one night while transiting through Zurich. Though the hotel looks unassuming from the outside but was exceptional from the inside. Being a boutique hotel, there are interesting photos, paintings and art work liberally spread throughout the hotel, including the rooms. They have an excellent lounge and family area where you can unwind and watch TV or have a coffee. The rooms were comfortable and the staff helpful. We took the breakfast package, which was sufficient and well prepared. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the Zurich HB station, and can be reached by foot or tram. There are lots of restaurants and shopping options nearby, which makes exploring Zurich all the more enjoyable. Overall, a very good stay and I would recommend this hotel for families.
