Superb location on the lake shore and just a few minutes walk from the railway station. A free shuttle to and from the station was also available. A very good breakfast and very helpful and welcoming staff.

Although the sun was shining the central heating was turned up to full power in the whole house. Temperatures exceeded 23 degrees inside. Luckily the windows could be opened for some fresh air.

Service from check-in to check-out was exceptional. We felt very welcome. The room was clean and recently renovated with a nice bathroom with good shower products and a fantastic mattress. To our surprise, we found a backpack as well as binoculars provided in the room, waiting to be used for a hike in the area.

Absolutely stunning views from room and property of the lake and town. Beautiful breakfast area and dinning room. 1St day at breakfast the lady staffing the area was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was very good and exceeded what we were expecting. The restaurant had excellent menu and service. The staff that took us back and forth to the train station were pleasant and efficient. The bathroom was very modern.

The one and only thing we would charge would be the bathroom door! - it was a sliding door in frosted glass, and the main issue with that was that if one person goes to the bathroom at night, the bedroom is flooded with light which can wake the other person.

I chose this hotel for our short stay in St. Moritz on the recommendation of the Man in Seat 61 website, as he says he always stays here, and I can certainly see why - the hotel is very conveniently located for those arriving by train, as well as anyone planning to take the Bernina Express. The hotel has a kind of family atmosphere, it's large enough to have all required amenities but not so large as to be impersonal. The staff we encountered were without exception very friendly and helpful, and the bar (the largest whisky bar in the world, apparently) is a great attraction, all the bar staff know quite a lot about whisky! The view from the restaurant over the lake is spectacular, and if you're there off-season as we were and reserve a table, you're very likely to get a window seat. Our room was one without a lake view but was still spacious and well-equipped, with wooden floor and furniture in a sort of chalet-style look. The shower was very good. We were visiting in the middle of a two-week trip, and I'd essentially run out of clothes so I requested the 24-hour laundry service. I gather that housekeeping were a little unhappy at the volume, and the service certainly came at a price, but they treated my high-Street-anywhere clothes with as much respect as if they'd been from the Big-brand shops in St Moritz town centre. I was very happy with the beautifully neat, clean, pressed and folded clothes that came back. I would definitely stay here again, and my only regret is that I wasn't able to tip better for the exceptional service we had (though the staff were as gracious about the tip as they were about everything else). I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely location in terms of being right on the lake and next to the station, but it was a bit of a walk into the main part of town. The room was huge, more than enough space for us, suitcases, etc. It was also lovely to have a bath and not just a shower. Loved the whisky bar at the end of the day

The Hotel exceeded our exceptions as a 3 Star Hotel. Views from the bedroom window were exceptional. The old saying "A picture is with a thousand words". The restaurant has excellent food and we had dinner there each night. They also have the biggest Whiskey Bar in the world with an amazing selection of Whiskey. The main train station is an easy walk but the Hotel provides a shuttle service. The Staff go above and beyond with any request. E Bikes are available for free to guests which we took an advantage of to ride around the Lake and trails.

The only thing I can think of is there being no water when I arrived! And no milk for the tea.

The little spa was a luxurious addition, very nice! I also took out one of the electric bikes at no extra cost and took advantage of a free trip to the mountains.

The dinner was over priced and mediocre! Breakfast lady was very abrupt, more busy setting tables up for the evening. Breakfast wasn’t good especially the hot food very limited and looked like it had sat for ages!
