Bed bugs in second bedroom - climbing all up the walls and over the bed through the night. My daughter ended up with bites all over her arms. Sent a message to the owner to ask if they could sort some insecticide to kill them but never heard back. I ended up buying some spray myself to try and kill them. Wouldn’t have noted this about the bugs if I had of heard back and had some help with trying to kill them off from the property manager.

Kitchen Stuff ,Some of the utensils are not clean and good. Light was not working in one bedroom. Very less Kitchen material in the house. Chimney in the Kitchen was not working.

Honestly I like the location and house. This is the best apartment to stay in Interlaken. Location is very good and they are supporting to give early check in in house.

Took 2 hours to get check in information, I was asking for a refund before I got entry to the apartment. The floors were dirty, kitchen was quite old and we didn't want to cook there (which is why we rented an apartment not hotel). Rooms were very noisy, you could hear every movement from apartment above which kept us awake alot.

Very hard to get the keys of the property and no information was provided prior to arrival. Property management never replied to our messages/emails and there was also no response for the phone calls.

There is no reception. It is difficult to reach the owner/operator of the place. Make sure to message them 2-3 days before your stay. We waited for 1 hour outside the apartment before somebody came out and told us that the owner lived across the street, the bldg. with Ferrari mural. Because the house is too old, every steps that you will make will make the floor generate squeaky sounds.

The room is reallt big and located at the first floor level. Complete with all the kitchen equipments.

While 209 Swiss francs per night was certainly cheaper for 2 couples than taking two hotel rooms in Interlaken, the facilities did not measure up to hotel standard or to the standard of cheaper apartments we took in Paris and Padua. In particular, the bathroom was sub-standard with a wooden partition between shower and toilet that allowed water to run out on the floor around the toilet. There was a sense of meanness about what was offered: pillows and bedding at 1970s youth hostel standard; one small towel each for a 4-day stay; one bathmat and one teatowel, which was riddled with holes [see photo below]. There were exactly 4 sets of cutlery, cups and plates, no wine glasses. There was no sense of welcome - just a sign telling us not to leave the kitchen in a mess. The owner is also not a good communicator. i sent several messages via Booking,com and received no reply.

The house is quite close to West station and very close to a bus stop for the 22 bus. All of Interlaken is walkable from here. The house has small traditional balconies and excellent views of the mountains. Access via a keybox was simple and the apartment is only up one flight of stairs. The apartment was serviceable, bright and cheerful, but with no frills.

Now, the big question is the bathroom - how bad is it? Well, overall it is neither good nor bad. The toilet seat was indeed loose but we found a way to tie it so that it stays in place and was therefore useable. The shower had leaky pipes so the power of the showerhead was poor. This is not a big problem, you can still use it and there is hot water. I will mention again about the unchanged bedsheets and beg bug problem. We know they were unchanged because 3 out of the 5 beds had hairs and crumbs on them! Unfortunately, one of us had to sleep on the dirty bed and got bitten. I slept on a "cleaner one" and got bitten too. Not sure how you can protect yourself from this problem, but probably just avoid this place if you can.

Before coming here, I read many of the bad reviews. To inform people who are thinking about coming here, the place is just passable. The bedrooms and kitchen were big and seemed great at first, however, we were disappointed by the unchanged bedsheets and then being bitten by bed bugs. We felt the kitchen was well-fitted with amenities and was great for cooking some simple meals. The best part about the place was that you could see the top of Jungfrau from the balconies. During sunset, it was illuminated with an orange hue which was beautiful. I'd say if you book this place expecting it to be perfect - it's not. If you are just looking for a place to stay 1 for 2 nights for a family of 5 - it is decently priced, everything is just passable, superb location, some nice views. If you were planning to stay for longer, I'm not sure you'd be able to put up with the conditions of the place for that long!

The bathroom could do with an overhaul - better shower, better lighting, fix the toilet seat! There's was a dustpan but no brush, and it would have been useful to have some scissors, an extra couple of fans and a clothes airer!

I had to contact the owner to find out how to get in after emailing twice with no response. The flat is ok but the building is in very poor condition. If you have quite low expectations and want somewhere cheap to stay for a short visit, this will be fine. Just don’t expect too much!

Location was good and there is a good view. Accommodation was spacious, comfy beds. Fairly well equipped but no chopping board or wine glasses.

The apartment is a bit shabby and could use some repair. The biggest problem was that the light in the bathroom didn’t work, and the host didn’t ever respond to our request for it to be fixed. So we had to shower and use the bathroom with the door open and/or with our cellphone light. The responsiveness of the host was non-existent and that seemed like a pretty big deal.

The location is great, and there is a good amount of space for 5 or 6 people. You can see the Alps from the balcony.

Floors and table were greasy. Feet felt filthy and turned black from walking on kitchen floor. Lots of traffic noise. Laundry options not explained and couldn't reach host in middle of stay to ask. Seemed to have bees outside which kept flying inside through windows opened for the cooler fresh air.

There was no Wi-Fi, ran out of hot water and didn't have it the second night. Host was very difficult to get a hold of. Called multiple times and finally texted and within a couple hours finally heard back. would not let us drop bags off early so we had to put bags in lockers at train station before check in time. had laundry facility downstairs but was not available for those of us that were renting.

Nice spacious apartment that slept six of us. two beautiful balconies with great view of the mountains. Not too far from either train station, but at least a 10 minute walk. Son of the owner was very thoughtful and took some of our clothes and was willing to launder them himself and bring them back to us.

No Wi-Fi was available. Had sort of a musty smell. Comforter and bedding seemed to need to be laundered. Got stuffy in the nose after sleeping there. No hot water available the second night. No extra toilet paper after one roll and no paper towels. Laundry area seemed to be available in building but we were told it was not available since we were renters. We were hoping to check in early or at least have a place to leave our bags, and this was not a possibility. Had to leave our bags in the locker and the train station until later in the day.

The view from the apartment was beautiful! Had nice balconies to sit on. Each of us had a bed. There was a refrigerator and kitchen facility. Hot shower available the first night. Owner's son was willing to wash clothes for us since the laundry facility was not available. Neighbor was extremely helpful and owner's son went above & beyond. Was not too long of a walk to the train station. Had a grocery store available & many restaurants nearby.
