Location is awesome. You can go up with the gondola (Rope way) and enjoy the beauty of mountain top which has a cattle barn. At the top food was good. Hotel had a restaurant which was also good. View is amazing, you can see Brienz lake, Brienz valley. Its close to Interlaken 30 min odd drive. People with family or people who like hiking this place is good.

Absolutely great location!! Not over crowded and touristy like grindelwald. The views from the room and restaurant were amazing! Soo nice to walk across the street to hop on the gondola to the top of the mountain or down into the town. Wished we had stayed in this location longer.

No proper ventilation for the room if all doors are closed. There's no AC, and we also asked for a fan, but they didn't have one, so they told us to leave the balcony door and window open to ensure the room had proper ventilation. This is terrible, because many guests also smoked cigarettes and joints on their terraces, which seeped into our room, making it smell like smoke. For a place that values nature and clean, fresh air, the fact that people are allowed to smoke on their terraces completely defeats this. This hotel needs to either find a way to ventilate the room without needing to open doors/windows, or prohibit smoking on the terrace. There's only 1 parking space for EV and yet it's being occupied by gas cars. They should provide a sign that the space is only for EVs.

A breathtaking view and a quiet place. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the mountains and fresh air gives you an indescribable feeling of peace and tranquility, except for a few serious issues that take away from what could be the perfect experience. More on that in the section above...

Nothing we enjoyed our stay.

The location of the hotel was excellent and the view from the balcony/room was spectacular across to the mountains and waterfall. The staff were friendly and helpful especially Rafael. The room although not modern was clean and comfortable and suited our stay. The free pass to use the cable car either up or down the mountain was a brilliant bonus.

Single beds are very small, even for a person like me who is small. No aircon, with summers getting hotter this is a must in hotels. Hotel could do with an upgrade, starting with the room keys. While this is not the hotel's fault, be careful with leaving the window open as your room will fill up with insects quiet quickly.

All the employees were very friendly and attentive, particularly in the restaurant. Views from the room and restaurant are stunning. Food was great albeit a bit pricey.

At the time of our stay, it was really hot and the lack of air conditioning in the room made it much harder to sleep.

The location of the hotel was great next to the gondola lifts! As customers, we got free tickets for the elevators and that was a really good advantage (financially, too). The hotel offered wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel staff was nice. The scrambled eggs for breakfast were the best ever!

What didn't we like? Well not much really. Perhaps the room was a bit bland and could do with a few pictures on the wall and perhaps some better furniture. However, the view through the window made up for this.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. The girl on the desk, who seemed to work 24 hours a day everyday was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The view from our room was stunning and the balcony superb. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant in the evening served great food. Especially good was the vegetarian options. The extras, like the lift pass and the discounts on various places of interest in the town below, made this a wonderful stay and we so enjoyed our stay here that we booked another night. We would love to return to this hotel again in the future.

Food menu in the restaurant could be better with more fish or sea food options. (Carpaccio, tartar or ceviche, etc) There could be some pastry for breakfast. Towels were quite thin - a better quality body towel would be more practical. First we got a room with a special access and it was not mentioned in the booking - we were told that all rooms in the hotel are like this what sounded quite unrealistic. Luckily we could change it. When you book a room and you don’t need a special access room better tell it in the booking as the bathroom looks different.

Bed covers, the balcony and the location was also quite convenient to see “must see” places in the region. They give a lift ticket which you can use as long as your stay is.

For the rates applied, hotel looks dated, room and bathroom have quite frankly very low budget furniture. Left and right less maintained areas. Up for an overhaul.
