Couldn’t check in until 3pm (which was the expectation) but we could leave our bags, which was helpful.

The Unique Post was in the most perfect location, right in the middle of the main part of town and very close to the train station. The room was perfect with an incredible balcony and view. The spa was a highlight along with nice robes and slippers. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

no AC but I know this is common in Europe. Because there wasn't any AC we had to leave our balcony door open and we happened to be there when the city was hosting a party and it was Switzerland national day too, so we can hear all the noise from the festivities. We had to take sleeping medication to try to sleep throughout the night. I think I would have booked something further away from the city center just to have a quieter environment.

I loved our balcony and liked the view. I loved that restaurants and bars that were attached to the hotel. The free breakfast was pretty good too. The location was great and walking distance to everything.

No in-room ability to charge electronic devices. Front desk was accommodating by putting together multiple adapters to fit my iPhone which I greatly appreciated but it was only by luck they found the correct combination.

Wonderful location, clean, stylish decor. Staff was extremely accommodating, and very lovely. From their first greeting to our departure, they were wonderful.

Greeted with hearts in our room for our anniversary celebration! And we had a wonderful balcony! The food was exceptional! And the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed!

This was our second time staying here because our first time was a 10 star experience. Unfortunately, this time was quite different. Covid times allowed us to have an upgraded duplex loft room with a fireplace and balcony overlooking the Matterhorn, and this time our room was quite small and cramped, overlooking the Main Street. The noise from the clubs and partiers at night were out of this world!! None of us were able to get any sleep, and it was quite outrageous to have to deal with it at over 600CHF a night. I think the part that left a bitter taste in my mouth was that the hotel didn’t proactively try to place us in a room that was a bit more soundproof knowing that we had a small child AND that we were repeat customers that had left quite a nice review the last time. The only saving grace was the awesome service we received in the restaurants downstairs, the apologetic letter written by a manager explaining that it was unfortunately too late to switch rooms due to the Easter weekend, and as was the case last time, a general friendliness from all the staff members.

Room was very nice and convenient. Central Zermatt and only 5min walk to the train station. Staff at front desk and restaurant were both very friendly and helpful! Balcony view was great (not on the Matterhorn side) and the facilities were amazing. Everything very modern and clean and I really like the wood look throughout the hotel. Very good breakfast, our bathroom had a skylight and the bed was very comfortable. All around a great stay.

Marlous was great helping us arrange dinner reservations and providing crucial guidance on what to book when as far as excursions, given the weather-- gamechanger. She even arranged early morning transport to Visp so we could get to ZRH in time for our flight, and had breakfast sandwiches ready for us at 430am to boot! Will be back and will stay here :)
