As stated the hotel interior is a little dated and could do with an overhaul but the service and cleanliness and super breakfast service is better than many top hotels.

Loved everything. The easy location to Chur Train station, just across and up the road. The comfortable beds and the super hot and pressurised showers that were perfect. The staff service at check in and breakfast was second to none. Do not be deceived by appearances, the hotel interior is a little dated but everything else in this hotel was five star. The cleanliness was second to none

The air conditioning didn’t cool very well but fortunately it wasn’t warm. When you checkout the credit card machine asks (like everywhere else) if you want to charge in your home currency or Swiss francs. You should always choose the local currency. The machine at the hotel says choose 2 for Swiss francs which I did but the machine sent the charge through in US dollars which cost me an extra $13 and I only stayed one night. When I notified the receptionist he said I needed to hit one of the buttons on the top of the machine (which are not numbered) and that he couldn’t reverse the charge. This is very deceptive and not a situation I’ve encountered in my 3 months in Europe so far.

The location is outstanding, around the corner from the station. The staff was very helpful with good recommendations. Large clean rooms.

The price is not cheap, but being Switzerland this may be normal.

There was nothing about the hotel we didn’t like. If I absolutely had to offer suggestions for improvement, I would have liked shampoo and conditioner in the shower, and larger towels in the bathroom, but this is being very picky now

Well planed, lots of lights. Room was good size. We got a complementary city bus pass. We used it to travel to the cable cart (half price) Great breakfast. Bathroom window had a view of the mountains. Greatshower. No bathtub. Had a balcony. Locate across the bus station and train station taxi across the street three blocks from the old city center.

The proximity to the train station was brilliant. We were taking the Bernina Express from Chur and I cannot think that there can be a better located hotel if you are travelling by train. The location to explore the town is equally great. The hotel rooms were contemporary and cleverly designed with all the comforts you would need. The lighting in the room was outstanding. Supremely comfortable bathrooms with great amenities. The reception and breakfast team were super efficient and friendly. The breakfast was great. Chur is lovely and in hindsight I should have booked two nights there as the town has a lot to explore. I highly recommend this hotel and would choose it again.
