Electronic key can be a bit annoying if you are worried your phone is running out of battery. I think they can probably provide you with a physical card key if you ask.

Loved this place! Hotel was well-located, the common rooms were so nice and comfortable, and having use of a kitchen and free tea and coffee were such nice features. Loved the decor and vibe of the place and the hosts of the hotel were super nice. Would absolutely return.

No TV in the room, althoug since we only stayed one night it did not really matter.

Kooky describes this hotel well, but in a positive way! The room was really original, with random objects for decor and interesting layout. The common rooms, were really nicely done and inviting, although we did not use get a chance to use them, as we only stayed one night and went out in the evening.

the temperature controls in the room were very modern so a help card would have been very helpful

convenience and the shared space gave it a very modern hotel feeling but with privacy of your own room. all the doors could be controlled using your mobile device. location was perfect - everything you want was within walking distance

The room is tiny - especially if you are a bigger person. Probably wise to look at the square footage - my partner and I struggled to squeeze past each other near the bed. All of the check-in is done online; we were given a host's name should we run into any problems. I reached out to him and never heard a thing back. The room was also hot and the AC didn't seem to work. We requested a fan and they shared they didn't have one.

This is a beautiful old building right in the heart of Bern - near so many great restaurants and sites to see. They also have stunning communal areas for making breakfast, for having a coffee, reading, etc. There is also free laundry which is a huge bonus. We found that there was usually a staff person on-hand to answer questions during the day. They were pleasant and helpful.

Our room was very small. We only had one cup by the sink. And there are no TVs in the rooms.

We liked the free coffee, tea, and cookies. We liked the automation of the hotel. We can see why this is a perfect place to stay for people who want to hang out, cook for themselves, do laundry, and feel at home. Celina, the host on our last day, was particularly helpful. She called three taxi services for us to get the best timing. And she worked very hard.

The highlight was the communal area that boasted a fully stocked kitchen, free tea and coffee with milk, and plenty of hangout space for having down time between exploring Bern. It is a brilliant concept and would 100% recommend Kooook just for that reason. The rooms were small but very clean, modern, and cozy,. They had everything you would need for sleeping and getting ready.

Not being tall, the bed was slightly challenging.

Lovely communal area with coffee/tea area,kitchen and spaces for children with comfortable seating. The location was close to the railway and the main streets. Using the online check in and keys was fine. There is good staff available to help.

We loved everything about the place!! The room is small but is so well designed with creative ways to store and hang things in a limited space. The bed is awesome and the little cushion by the window is a great idea. The best part though was the lounge which impressed us with the layout of colorful and comfortable furniture to spend long hours going through all the materials they have provided. Amazing space!! The check in process was good but could be a little easier rmay be with access to keys that doesn't require the use of the link they send via Whatsapp. May be an app or something may make it easier. We can't wait for them to open in other cities. Highly recommend.
