Sportchalet Mürren is in prime location for Via Ferrata or any trips around Mürren. The views from the back if the property are just stunning, with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau right there when you open your curtain. The rooms were warm at night and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a large selection of fruit, yogurt, fresh breads (all the expected items and more). Staff friendly and helpful. Guests were quiet and like my friend and I were in bed early in order to rise early and get outside. Great place, great atmosphere, welcoming staff. All this and more for a very reasonable price. Its worth it just for the views from the room. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful spot right in the center of town and close to everything. The accommodations were perfect for our large family and at the rates charged, we could afford to spread out in multiple rooms. Rooms were very clean, very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was REALLY impressive and the staff very helpful. What a great value!

Room was quite small. Balcony is shared and has no divisors, anyone is able to peek or enter the room if the balcony door is open. Small stains on bedding. Shampoo not provided.

Mountain views, short walk from cable cars and train station. Tennis courts and other sports facilities. Free pass for swimming pool. Clean shared facilities. Wide choice and delicious breakfast. Was able to check in sooner than advertised. Convienient shelf, light and socket above the bed.

Bathroom window was left open and there were insects (harmless) in bathroom. Non-ideal.

I did not know we could not get to the hotel by car, and had to take 2 cable cars and then walk 15 mins (This should be made clear). Also I thought there was a shared bathroom between and for the 2 rooms I booked -again not clear. The breakfast and everything else was very good.

Breakfast is quite late (8pm); I needed to leave before that so I missed it. It was very loud in the evening until about 10pm, mainly due to people enjoying being outside. It was quite noisy in the corridors too thanks to teenagers. It didn't disrupt my sleep but bear in mind it could be a little noisy.

Great location, close to the Coop and shops. Decent sized room and bathroom. Great for a one-night stat in Mürren while hiking the Via Alpina.

Great location in Mürren with exceptional views. Comfortable room with clean (shared) toilets and showers. Breakfast was good. Was mostly quiet at night. Comfy little beds with bedside lamp and USB and usb-c ports.

It is sort of a glorified hostel with shared hall bathroom and very utilitarian aesthetic to the building. This wasn’t a problem. It was just sort of expensive for that. But this may be because it was summer.

The view was incredible! Wow! And the location (Murren) was wonderful too. The rooms were really clean. The staff was very hospitable.

The location, friendliness of the staff, and cleanliness of the facilities were outstanding! We loved the free entry to the local sport center, where we used the pool daily. Breakfast (with a view!) was great.

Some issues with the shared bathroom - one of the showers was broken and couldn't stop working.

Nice place to stay a night or two in Murren. Super central location, amazing mountain views, access to the sports areas, and free breakfast - great package with good price (as for the super expensive location). The staff was really nice too!
