We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesSome of instructions are not clear like use of Spa and , house cleaning , people on reception were good and explained when we arrived , but last two days we have someone name Alf , for no reason he was rude and answer rudely for simple questions, not even greeted and even answered greeting rudely , really don’t know his issue may be with certain race of people . If it was not for him I would have given 5 stars

United StatesWe thought we rented an apartment owned by hotel. But it was a private apartment managed by hotel. There were no amenities like shampoo and body wash. We had to buy our own. There was a view. But we were in first floor and the outdoor restaurant was directly outside the living room and people can see in. We could literally hop over a curb and enter the restaurant so minimal privacy

United KingdomI moved the settee in the room and the dust and crisps underneath ..... only moved it as dropped something, its not been moved or cleaned under for a long time.
The location of this hotel is fantastic but that is why we booked it . Its like most hotels in this area and is very dated but i did hear its having work done in a couple of years time, its like the 1980's but just the same as the rest of the hotels in the area. Staff are all quite freindly and seem happy to help. We had a great nights sleep and the veiw from our balcony was just the best to wake up to. (Room 429) Will return again in a couple of years for sure. We had a nice stay here and would recommend.

United StatesAs with most hotels in Europe, there’s always some kind of inconsistency or goodness. The quirk to our room was that the balcony was at the same level and actually joined with the rooftop restaurant. It was odd to have to close the blinds so diners can’t see you change.
Accommodations were very comfortable for my family of 4. There was plenty of room to move in for a few days. I wish I was able to stay longer.

South AfricaI did not like the sleeper coach as it squeaked everytime I moved. Then the staff in the restaurant make you feel so uneasy, they walk around while you eating, you still have food in your plate and they ask can they take it away. You should try and get a negotiated train ticket up to Wengen. It is ridiculous to pay 7.20 one way when you are coming up at least 4 times a day.
I have been there 3 times so that should say something. Love the staff, Armondo, Alfie and Sebastian were just amazing. Love that they put out blankets and water bowls for my 2 babies. Had all the normal toiletries, breakfast was really nice. Great options. Alfie was vet generous with a late check out. Super grateful for them.

I highly recommend to stay in Wengen as compared to other places it is very quiet and less crowded. Amazing place to enjoy the alps and get much needed peace and quiet. Wengen has amazing facilities and activities for kids to explore and enjoy themselves. People are very friendly and welcoming.

South AfricaThe sleeper coach was broken. They did not cater for the 3rd person. Had to ask for extra towels and bedding as it was not prepped before.
The location but with the price we paid, I feel that you can negotiate with the Train company to give residents a discount because each way up and down you pay 22 euro per person unless you get the pass but still a discount would of been great especially if you only coming from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen
