Bathroom was very small and difficult to get dressed in. While the room had a skylight with views to the mountain which was amazing, there were three flights of stairs to get to the room.

Location is amazing, breakfast was great. Bathroom facilities were very small and cramped. Room was clean and had a great view of the lake and the snow capped mountains.

We had also 1 room that was not at the promenade and that was on the 2nd floor, extremely basic, like a youth hostel or dorm. There is no TV in none of the rooms. The breakfast is very basic and with few supplies. The restaurant has warm kitchen only for a few hours a day and closes early. There are only 2 parking spots for the hotel guests, but you get a ticket that allows you to park at any public parking lot. There are more parking lots next to the restaurants but those are kept for other purposes.

The hotel is situated right at the sea promenade with a few rooms that have an exit directly on the promenade with 2 chairs, a table and a parasol. You are separated from the promenade by a small garden. The view is amazing and the train & boat station are in walking distance (5-10 min). It is quiet and very good to relax.

It was definitely not worth what we paid with a shared tiny bathroom where you could barely move, no communal kettle and very very basic breakfast. Some of the staff were kind, but we had a few that were quite rude and dismissive. Our checkout was early and not accommodated.

Room price is a little bit high for a room with shared bathroom. There's only one shared toilet and shower cabin, it wasnt a problem for me but it could be on peak season.

Location of the hotel is perfect, my room was overlooking the lake and view from my room's window was wonderful. There's a sink in the room. Breakfast is very good, coffee is exceptional. Helpful hotel manager.

Friendly staff, good location. We stayed for just one night as part of a hiking tour. Breakfast was good, there was no evening meal available but we discovered the best pizza in Switzerland close to the railway station.

I had already hard times to book properly the room, since it was not clear if it was arranged with double or single beds. Finally I managed to book and get confirmation of 2 single beds and guess what, I ve found a double bed. My friend had to sleep on the sofa. I was also disappointed about the parking lot (for 4 o 5 cars max), which was full, and while I was looking for a solution I ve been invited in a very unfriendly way to move away my car, so that other guests could arrive, I got really pissed off. Moreover I could not have my breakfast (which was included) since it start at 8.15, which is very late too me and for people that need to leave early in the morning for hiking or other planned visits.

Breakfast could have been slightly more varied. The feel and decorations of the hotel were very dated, which I understand are part of the charm.

The best part of this hotel was its location and the lake view from my room was the best I have ever had! Being right on the lake front and having a window opening out to see the beautiful views was perfect! The staff were friendly and the main guy had an excellent sense of humour. Facilities were simple but clean. The hotel was within a few minutes walk of restaurants, grocery shops and the train station.

Upon arrival, I found the reception area unattended, resulting in an 8-minute wait. The room itself left much to be desired. I encountered cleanliness issues, including a soiled face cloth in the lavatory and an unflushed toilet. The presence of an unattended waste in the toilet is a particularly distressing matter that significantly affected my perception of the hotel's overall hygiene standards. Furthermore, essential amenities like body wash and shampoo were not provided, leaving only hand soap available. The room's location beneath the stairs offered no view, with a menu stand further obstructing any potential outside scenery. This, combined with continuous foot traffic from guests using the stairs, led to a consistent level of noise and disturbance. Despite placing a "Do Not Disturb" sign, housekeeping staff entered our room, which was surprising given my extensive experience in the hospitality industry. FYI, at this hotel, croissants are served rather than being available for self-service on a buffet counter, as is the case in other establishments. On our second day, we requested croissants, but the lady server refused, alleging that we had already consumed our allotted one per day. This left us confused, as she had seen us just arrive and she sees that we have clean plates, and she was the one who offered us coffee upon our arrival. This incident took place in front of other guests, which made the situation all the more embarrassing. Such treatment is simply unacceptable!

The staff provided the necessary information and issued our guest card and allowed us for an early check-in.
