Rooms were good size and bathrooms were large and had every amenity. The staff was very nice, service oriented, and the concierge was extremely helpful. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and having a drink in the lounge after our tours. The location was perfect, very central to restaurants, shopping, and Old Town.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right across the street from the train station so it is easy to go anywhere you want. I arrived from the USA into Zurich and was able to take the train to Bern without any problems. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the Schweitzerhof Bern Hotel and Spa. I also got a deep tissue massage in the spa that was excellent!

The hotel isn’t in a great part of town. There were cops nearby helping homeless folks who seemed to be passed out. It was fine, no one paid us any attention but just be aware. Also, the light switches are everywhere & were a little tricky to figure out which ones worked where.

This hotel was beautiful inside. The room was very comfortable & felt like a special vacation away. The shower was an excellent rain shower. The breakfast was really amazing with many options.

Sometimes you need to inform them to change the bedsheet if you are staying more than one night. The breakfast wasn't that great but I believe all hotels in Europe have the same issue.

I stayed 4nights, It was fantastic and the best location in Bern every place can be reached by walking. Many thanks to the professional staff in the Reception Mr Luca Jancobi who made us so happy by taking care of our car and luggage and even the easy Uber food such as the gent makes you come again and again to the Hotel.

The spa area is beautiful. not very spacious, There was only space for a few sunbeds. The pool was more like a huge jacuzzi. not really a swimming possibility.

the overall hospitality is superb. Our room was spacious, with desk, a couch and a well set bathroom. Breakfast was partly served, (eggs, pancakes) but most part in buffetstyle. All in a brasserie setting. Lounge area gave enough privacy and cosy set up and interior Drink at roof top bar was lovely with beautiful views. The spa treatment was lovely, and very well taken care of. Location is perfect in the middle of the centre, opposite main trainstation.

Excellent and very friendly service at reception/concierge, the rooftop bar and Jack's brasserie (we highly recommend both spots!). Top notch housekeeping too, with great attention to detail. Beautiful and very quiet junior suite, which we really enjoyed. Highly recommended hotel!

Beautiful architecture, attentive staff, stunning room with top-notch amenities, and great location. Lovely extras that made our stay even more enjoyable were sightseeing recommendations from the staff, turn-down service, welcoming check-in, luggage service and more.

The hospitality was wonderful. Team members were welcoming, informative and focused on making our experience excellent. Location was very convenient to train station, encouraging easy day trips in the region. We extended our initial booking of 2 to 5 days and look forward to returning in the future.
