Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Quite a few confused looking customers, us included, trying to figure out how everything worked

Gorgeous hotel - our room seemed like it had just been updated. Squeaky clean and chic. Great breakfast, good access to the lifts. Our favorite part was the gym and spa, which were so nice. We were able to take saunas and cold showers and lay in the salt room, all at no extra cost. The bartender is friendly and helpful. All told, a great stay.

SingaporeThe orientation of the bed was weird. It faced the glass sliding doors and balcony directly and made us feel exposed. So we had to keep the blackout curtains drawn all the time.
The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The front desk manager was very friendly, he went out of his way to show us how to get to our room without climbing any stairs. Breakfast was very good. The modern hotel's location was quiet, far from the madding crowd but yet so conveniently close to both the Main and Gommergrat train stations. If we stayed longer and had more time, we would certainly make use of the SPA facilities.

SingaporeEverything and everyone was great, except for a young server during breakfast that had a sour face and wouldn’t smile. But in Zermatt it seems more common to see such service staff.
The room was huge, as was the bathroom! Super comfortable bed, and they had an option to change to a firm pillow which when i requested for, i slept like a baby every night. Laundry was done perfectly, and breakfast was great too, with a yummy waffle mix to make your own. Wifi was great, hot water supply abundant, really needed that cos it got unexpectedly cold this summer! Slightly expensive but such is the price of all accommodation in Zermatt and i feel this is really worth it with all the pros. You can even see the Matterhorn just sitting at the lobby on a clear day.

United StatesShould change name listed here for hotel to correct name: Schlosshaus. Calling it the Schlosshotel is confusing upon arrival. Also, should mention the ground floor apartments might have steps involved (although there is a circuitous path one can take to use elevators and avoid steps - this is important for older people like us with heavy suitcases). A lovely employee walked the route between elevators to show me how to do this, so it worked out fine but initially worrying.
The room was comfortable and had a small lanai (no view). Easy to reach from the train station (<5 min walk, completely level). Also right next to the Gornergrat Bahn station. Breakfast was a very complete good buffet. Very courteous staff.

The hotel was amazing, one of the best stays in our lives. The room was super comfortable, modern and quite big. There was a bath and a shower in the room. Big terrace. The facilities were so great - gym and spa, the breakfast area, just perfect. You could register each morning for free yoga classes! The location is super central just a couple of minutes walk to the railway station. The grocery store is 5 min walk.
