The young gentleman on the check-in desk was very helpful and friendly. Our supper in the restaurant was very good. This hotel has a safe storage room for bicycles.

Limited choice of food in the evenings, the breakfast buffet is basic plus the lift does not work, 56 steps to the 4th floor

This is a family-run hotel, the family are very friendly and hard-working, this is not a modern building and has character. Great for a bed for the night and motorbike friendly. Great views nice beer ideal for riding the passes.

We have stayed there before and booked it again. But that was a disapointing experience because of the following: Normally the restaurant is open for dinner all week except wenesday, but when we came there, they have changed the resting day from one to two days without telling us. Fortunetely there was a restaurant 10 min walk away where we could get some food. The place looks worn down, and it doesnt seem to be renowated at all, not even painting of all the wood on the building. The elevator apparantly broke down 3 or 4 years ago (it was also broke when we were there last time) and we were told it was not going to be repaired. The Hotel has a very nice location and could be a very nice and beautifull place to stay if it was in a better shape and with better service.

Not a lot really.

I've stayed here before 2 years ago and I instantly liked the place. This year we were in the area again so a made a point of staying here again. The location for us was great, near the Swiss passes but far enough away be be quiet. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The rooms are a good size, the beer is good and the food was excellent.

The entire property is dated and has definitely seen better days.

The room was clean and comfortable. The location was nice with a beautiful view and very quiet and we received a friendly welcome. The breakfast wasn’t lavish but it had what we liked including good coffee, fresh croissants and cereal.

If the owner wouldn’t have scolded me at the very last day for sitting at the “wrong place” - which was the same place I had been sitting all along - she would have even passed the friendliness test. But given that she hasn’t said any other word to me other than this last minute complaint, I cannot rate this hotel high for friendliness.

This place is the cheapest option to stay anywhere in the Wallis area and at this, it is really very good value. The breakfast is decent but not lavish. The rooms are spanking clean and the bed is good. The shower has full water pressure and delivers very hot water. Everything is perfectly in order.

We weren't informed that the kitchen is close for dinner sometimes. We had to book another restaurant and in is the area is very difficult to find. They should advise this before.

i notify the elevator is out of order, luckily i didn't need it. the walls are thin, as a wooden structure hotel it's normal, but i got woke up at 6:30 by the neighbour leaving early. the duvet was a bit small for me (i'm 1,84cm) but that's not a big deal.

location is awesome, quiet is great, price is low, breakfast is plenty.

No food available on the premises in the evening and no help on where to get any at short notice even though the site said there's a restaurant
