We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Netherlandscomfort average because beds are to small for people over 1,90 (which is quite normal in the Netherlands). Without a footend board it would be less a problem (feet can then stick out a bit).

United Statesthe property at $450 / night did not offer basic shampoo / toiletries when reviews said it was well equipped and you have everything you need. there was no manual with the explanation on the amenities or even the wifi code in the apartment : nothing. the contact with the personnel was very disappointing. the reception was closed and remained closed throughout our two nights stay. we were referred to calling a phone number. after a couple of calls regarding practical questions at time of check in , I was told, I need to talk to the receptionist or I need to send an email and was told I should not call this number. my questions were simple such as what is your wifi code, do you have a laundry facility… I finally got the Info but it was really not customer friendly and border line rude. this type of interaction can ruin your experience. we travel a lot and this was a big disappointment especially at this price. our apartment was all right but a bit depressing.
the location was great. the property was very basic but fine. it is expensive for what it is but this is I guess normal given the area.

I had to shift to another property and had to let go all my money. You just cannot stay with a child here.
