Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Decor and furniture (the tiles in the bathroom were really nice!). Thank you for providing large mugs! The beds were comfortable.

AustraliaNO onsite parking as per listing NO parking for $14CHF per day Bathroom is extrenal and we did not realise as it is not mentioed in the ad. They have added a hand drawn floor plan to the photos in the but it is easily overlooked when looking at the photos as it is not clearly explained. They charge additional 35CHF if you use the kitchen. There was no toaster.
The property is advertised as having onsite parking. it DOES NOT!!!! As a person with a disability I specifically used the booking.com filters to select a property with onsite parking in Chur. As there were only 3 properties in Chur advertising they had onsite parking. We chose this property. However there is no ONSITE PARKING at this property. This property is located in the old town and without a permit you are not permited to drive in the old town at all times. We found this out through the police ifficer on a bike who was going to issue us a ticket until she realised I had a disability and was unaware we did not had onsite parking she thankfully was very helpful after I showed her the paperwork for this accommodation ng. Parking is off site approximately 700m/ 950m from the property depending on the availability. And the cost is $60AUD per day not 14CHF per day) the owners blamed booking.com for this error and said its a translation error as they placed the ad in German. I have recently had total hip replacement and specifically booked a property with onsite parking and although the property was beautifully decorated. We found it also a little off/rude to see a note in the kitchen explaining ...that if we used the kitchen we would have to pay $35CHF for cleaning of kitchen. We didnt realise as it is not mentioned in the listing that the bathroom is located accross the hallway. ( there is a hand drawn diagram that does show this but i didnt realised til after arriving and discovering the bathroom/ toilet was outside our room I had not realised the hand drawn diagram amongst the many photos. This is NOT mentioned in the listing at all,.again we would never have chosen a property with an extrernal bathroom. All in all it is a lovely property but should not advertise onsite parking when there is none. And when renting an appartment with a kitchen the cleaning fee should be included. And it should clearly mention bathroom is external

A really quaint apartment , with plenty of room and everything you could need in an amazing location in the old town. Very easy to find from the train station too. Some of the reviews talk about the bathroom being ‘outside’ .. this is I believe lost in translation. It is exclusively for your use and just across the landing - only you have the key as well. Also it was beautifully clean.

Location was perfect and easy to get to from train station. Beautiful apartment that felt very luxurious and homely due to the small touches - beautiful linen, beautiful decor and spotlessly clean. We loved it here. The toilet being a few steps outside the front door didn't bother us, but it might if you need to use the bathroom during the night. If not, don't worry about it, it's not an issue. Basic necessities provided in kitchen which was appreciated. Thank you, we loved this apartment.

We liked the interior decoration, it had a cosy character feel : beach chic meets swiss cottage, a home away from home with the sweetest outlook onto beautiful neighboring gardens. Close proximity to the old town centre.
