Pictures from the booking,because I expected worse room than it turned out to be

The hotel’s location is fantastic! Frankly speaking? I made a reservation because I had no other options, I didn’t like the pics of the hotel,I expected the room to be very small and old fashioned buuut I was shocked when I opened the door, it was great,spacious,modern,the mountains view is spectacular, so my advice- you should take new photos of the hotel and rooms,this will definitely attract new clients. The breakfast was small but with all essentials and OMG the home made bread,I still can’t forget it!!!!!!! The balcony is also very nice, we bought some food in a local store and enjoyed the view.

Room was oldschool, but clean and comfy. Delicious and cheap pizza downstairs! Breakfast was pretty good, with a variety of breads and cold cuts. It's quiet and very relaxed.

This accommodation is good for a short stay in Kandersteg. Check in was easy, and the staff are helpful. Breakfast is included and while simple, is tasty. We had the option of having eggs cooked for us in the morning too. The shower in the bathroom has a good water pressure, and the room feels very private.

There is no hair dryer and they charge an extra 9 chf city tax but they didn't mention anything after check out they will charge.

The hotel is so good with the mountain view and it is near the train and bus station. Breakfast was good. The lady there was so kind. In front of this hotel there is a bakery. They will give free public transport tickets to a particular area after check out

The check-in time is pretty late (5 pm) and the check-out time is pretty early (10am). Would be nice to have a bit more flexibility. Need a more accessible outlet near the bed. No wifi on site. No fridge in the room, so I adapted by putting my groceries on the window sill.

Simple but clean and quiet, close to the train station and the Coop in town. The included breakfast had BACON, which was a nice treat. For the money, a decent deal overall.

All The staff at hotel Spycher are wonderful, Jasmine is exceptionally kind and helpful..The food was very good, including the breakfast. The position in the village is good, convenient and quiet. The room we had was basic but it was good value and such a friendly pension.

The hotel is very good, it is cozy small hotel owned and run by a family (as we can understand). The room was small, but cozy and clean, the view from the room was perfect. Breakfast was also good (not so many types of food as you can see in some big hotels, but it was tasty and there was enough tasty food to eat). We could not come early, so we had to ask the owners for a late check-in (after 11 pm) and they were very nice to us, so we checked in without any problems, many thanks for that!

Friendly staff, relatively spacious and clean room at quiet location. Nice view from the balcony. Free parking spots and close to many facilities in Kandersteg, including cross country skiing pists. Good value for money.

Breakfast and coffee were great! The pizza in the restaurant was great, and the Spycher salad was sooo good, we talked about it the rest of our trip- one of our best meals in Switzerland! Staff was great— friendly and kind. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is located in the picturesque village of Kandersteg and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had parking available for free. The manager made us a lunch to take with us as we checked out before breakfast.
