This was the perfect place to end our Haute Route hike. We finished earlier than expected and we were luckily able to check in early. Our room was exceptionally comfortable with beautiful linens, furnishing and bathroom. The spa was a delight and completely banished our aches and pains. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. We would love to return.

I wish you had a bigger gym

I liked everything!! Our room was so pretty and the view amazing!! The breakfast buffet super good, lots of options ! The bread, fresh orange juice, eggs station et etc etc!! Lovely tables and flower arrangements!!

We loved the hotel , our view of the Matterhorn was breathtaking to wake up to each morning. The room and bathroom were so comfortable and clean . We had delicious treats left each day in our room to enjoy . The breakfast was outstanding and the staff so pleasant and helpful . The pool and spa facilities were fabulous. The restaurant was also exceptional. I would highly recommend staying here . It would be my first choice if I was to return to Zermatt .

I would have given this property a very high rating if I had not seen a big spider 3 times out of 4 we stayed.

Very nice spa facilities with an amazing heated outdoor pool with Matterhorn view! Great breakfast. Transport service from/to train station. I will be back for sure!

No ventilation in the room, no screens on the windows or balcony doors therefore if you left the windows or balconies doors open flys would come in. Since it was at ground level poor security with the windows and balcony doors open

Couldn't understand why the spa only opened from 3 pm - 8 pm. Most of Japanese ansen in Japan opened 6 am to midnight. Hotel needs to understand there are rainy days & sometimes guests only hike in the morning or afternoon & need spa earlier than 3 pm.

A tad expensive

This hotel is conveniently located just 5 minutes away by walk from the Zermatt station and alongsode the Gornergrat track. Our room had a terrace from where we could see the trains. We could also view the Matterhorn from the front side of the hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful. We were guided throughout by Melanie who was exceptional in helping us get to the property and around. Her passion, knowledge and willingness to help guests were amazing . The breakfast was awesome with a decent buffet spread. The lady who worked at the breakfast hall was also amazing with her service. Overall Zermatt is a must for a Swiss vacation and this hotel is certainly worth the money.

My original room was in the extension and didn’t have a balcony, although it was spacious, I found it slightly claustrophobic with a sloping roof. After the first night, I requested and was given a room in the main building with a lovely big balcony and a view from the back of the hotel. The staff were excellent in meeting my request.

Location is perfect, close to the centre of Zermatt but away from the busy Main Street. The staff are exceptionally helpful, responding to messages immediately and arranging a change of room to provide a balcony. Lots of lovely little touches such as the daily mini cakes, and evening turn-down service. Great breakfast and a lovely indoor pool.
