The only restaurant that I could find (that was open on the evening I checked) was 5min by bus and then a very very steep 15min walk away. The area was quiet but the walls and floors are pretty thin so you can hear all your neighbours

The view from the balcony was fantastic. They ordered gluten free bread rolls for breakfast especially for me and the other food was good to either plenty of options. The bus stop is right outside their door. The bed was comfortable and water pressure very good. Easily accessible by bus (Postauto 101) from Interlaken and 10min connection to Beatenberg cable car station.

Little more attention to cleaning. The table and chairs on the balcony were a bit dirty.

The view is amazing from the hotel. The breakfast and dinner is really nice and the dinner buffet is really good value. Also received a free bus and train pass around the area which also comes with discounts.

A) 2 single beds were provided, it left a gap in the middle, which was uncomfortable to sleep on B) Breakfast menu was the same on both the days - menu should be different. Can't expect guests to have the same breakfast every day. C) Folks at reception can be more welcoming and warm in response.

I couldn't figure out how to make the room cooler, so I propped the windows open. Only thing that I didn't enjoy was the commute down the hill. It takes around 15 minutes to go up and down the hill with the windy roads. I personally got a little motion sickness, but at least the views were nice!

Our view off our room's balcony and the dining hall was AMAZING. From Beatenburg, you can see the Swiss alps, Interlaken city, as well as the lake! The staff were respectful and professional. We stayed in a double bed room and was pleasantly surprised at how much room we had!

We had an upstairs attic room where the ceiling sloped and you had to be careful you didn't hit your head when you got out of bed or when you made a cup of tea.

The view the location quiet Village away from the hustle of Interlachen with free bus ride into town every day and back .perfect! Lovely Airy dining room with the most fabulous View we loved it.

The breakfast view is the main reason this place is worth every franc. The staff is very kind and hospitable. They provide a free bus pass for your stay to Interlaken (20mins).

It's in beatenberg, bit away from the city and great drive through scenic road. If you get the room opposite to road you can enjoy the great views of interlaken.they giving freeone day bus pass for Interlaken for the family,that's great gesture.

Only one thing I didn't like is behaviour of receptionist. She was not helpful at all.My bathroom heater was not working, so I have asked receptionist for the reason, first of all she told me we do not have heater in bathroom.When I told her one of my colleague's bathroom heater is working, then she changed her statement and said that we have intentionally cut electricity to maintain heat level of room which is illogical for me(I was asking her for bathroom heater).

Hotel and its location are amazing.Really good breakfast they have provided.

Rules galore detracts from the, perhaps, valid intentions: No smoking or alcohol signs everywhere isn't a warm welcome, especially to anyone wanting a cold one to celebrate a great day on the panoramaweg.

The oak interior is a bit outdated, and was kept up by the loud sounds of the washing machine at night.

The view of the mountains from our large room and balcony was magnificient and impressive ! All the staff was very cheerful, very friendly and professional ! Excellent breakfast and buffet in the evening ! We will come back with pleasure even though this is a hotel alcohol free ! We didn't try it but there was an impressive selection of non-alcoholic drinks. What is good to know.
