Would be nice to provide some toiletries in the hotel room like lotion, separate bar of soap, laundry bag etc. The bathroom in the apartment needs a facelift and the carpets in the room need serious dusting/cleaning or rather removal and change. Lighting inside the apartment bedroom can be improved. Would be good to have a shuttle available from Brienz station, esp for those travelling without a car. For us it was not a problem, as we came with a car. Maybe make a pathway to the reception that isn't all stones so the bags can come to the hotel easily. One hotplate on the kitchen stove isn't working and needs to be repaired.

Great location with an amazing lake view!!! Can't beat this! Serene and top notch property. The apartment was equipped with the basics. Cleaning was done! Beds were comfy. Balcony view of the lake was the best Swimming pool is cute. And the sauna is really nice.. Ample changing rooms and shower space in the swimming area. Breakfast was really nice and simple. The bread was fresh and croissants so delicious! We also had dinner at the restaurant and the Thai / Asian curries were absolutely delicious.

Mattresses- need change Since property is at a height there should be a provision of Shuttle service even after 1700 hrs. Especially for Senior citizens

There was a big tree brunch right in front of our balcony and hot pot area blocking the view. Kind of a bummer. I went back to reception to change the room however all the rooms were given out already as I checked in almost at 20:30 pm .

Rooms are not sound proof at all. Breakfast was basic but enough. Bed was too soft for my boyfriend but good for me.

Hot tub on balcony is the reason we stayed. We didn't know what room we would get until we arrived but photos on website are exactly what it is like, beautiful gardens and views are amazing! Enjoyed the hot tub and view.

Visitors should not choose Room 38, which is a newly renovated room, and the hotel opened its doors before its smell had worn off. I slept in it for two nights, which gave me a headache.

The location of this hotel is very good and it has a beautiful view. It's a pleasure to get up in the morning and open the window.

The only drawback is the uphill climb to the hotel each time you venture out for sightseeing excursions. Returning from Brienz Station to the hotel can be cumbersome. Providing a shuttle service daily every 30 minutes or upon guest request for all the guests staying in the hotel would greatly alleviate this inconvenience.

We always wanted to stay in a Swiss chalet with exceptional views to experience pure Swissness and avoid city hotels. During our four-night stay with family, we were mesmerised by the Hotel’s remarkable location overlooking Lake Brienz and nestled amidst picturesque hills, offering unparalleled vistas of Switzerland’s natural beauty. Brienz Railway station is 10 minutes which is very well connected to Interlaken ost with direct 20 min ride. Brienz is a very small town and you have very limited food options. Fortunately we got few frozen and ready to eat items which has helped us. There is COOP local super market near Brienz railway station. Our accommodation resembled a charming Swiss-style chalet apartment, complete with a kitchenette. Our experience was truly delightful, thanks to the accommodating staff who were always on hand to assist us whenever needed. Hotel provides free shuttle for arrival and departure to Brienz Station. Please inform them well in advance to avoid in convenience as the hotel is located on the hill.

Nice Breakfeast, location is walking 4min up frome tge lake what means the place has a nice view over the lake and from the mountains. Nice sauna and pool after a long hike. Liked the balcony.

The shower/bathroom could be better. It is not suitable for a hotel like this. Instead of the glass door, it was just covered with a curtain.

We had a family room with balcony and hot tub. It was fantastic for our family of four (small kids) and dog. The view could not have been better and the space was roomy, comfortable and clean. The hotel facilities are spread out and include everything you could want - from a playground, to grounds to walk around with the dog and a lovely pool. The restaurant and breakfast had everything we could need to start and end our day. And, the staff were so welcoming. The hotel is fantastically located in Brienz, just a short 15-30 minute drive to two family friendly ski sites and walking distance from the Brienz train station. We will be more than happy to go back in the summer to try out the historic mountain train.

Dont book a superior room, we had a 'cheese' room wasnt worth extra money apart from the view, very dated room, didnt want to stand on carpet in bare feet !, shower was old and very small, they only empty bins, which was fine, but maybe clean towels would be nice
