Only one socket in the room. Noisy because of creaky floor. We were waken up by people who lived above us.

The walls were so thin and the guests didn't stick to the silent hours rule thus had a disturbed sleep and need to knock on the door of the rooms and remind them about the silent hours. It will be nice to implement the rule strictly.

Noise it sounds when you walk thru the corregidor, but can be ignored as we are outside most of the time.

Excellent Location, clean and friendly staff /receptionist. Nice balcony to relax and have your coffee in the morning.

The price is very expensive. I paid 240 chf per night for a very small room with bunk beds and a shared bathroom.

Staff were super sweet. The lady at the front desk was so nice to chat with. We enjoyed the location and the. At across the street. The beds were beds nothing amazing but a place to put your head and that’s all we wanted. The location and the view made it a great stay. We went into town and got to hear yodelers and hang with the locals. We also rented paddle boards nearby. Great stay.

Since it's an older building, you could hear everyone thru the thin walls.

We booked double bunker bed room and found the room size to be quite small, which made it a bit difficult to move around. Since we stayed for just one night, it wasn’t a major issue. However, there was something on the beds that caused itching throughout the night, possibly bed bugs. Housekeeping and cleaning of the mattresses and bed sheets are essential.

Our stay at Lake Hodge Hostel was truly memorable. The location was absolutely amazing, offering breathtaking views of the lake.

The kitchen could use something more than microvawe to cook.

Amazing balcony view, straight onto the Isetwald Palace and Brienzer Lake. Cool outdoor restaurant by the lake with good food. Great excursion point for trips to Lauterbrunnen. And amazing service from the Lodge and Restaurant service.

It was extremely hot in the property! I woke up most nights uncomfortable from the heat. Please note that it was also very noisy, however they do have quiet hours in place which helped a little bit with this.

This property has beautiful views of the lake. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly very clean and well kept the entirety of our stay. The property was close to the bus stop, and it was a huge bonus that the hostel gave us free bus passes too!

Given the style of the property, it was noisy at times. We could hear neighbours snoring, moving around etc, and the quiet times weren’t totally observed by other guests. One other small point was that it was uncomfortably warm at night with no aircon but not a dealbreaker.

Ok, it's a hostel, you meet with various people here, equipment is appropriate. Kitchen is basicaly a microwave (no stove), fridge (no freezer) and sink. Floors are kind of noisy. If you don't have a car, the location may seem a bit isolated.

The staff is the best single adavantage of this hostel, you can get advice or just have a nice chat. Location is perfect: very pleasant little village on the lake shore, in the evening very quiet. Perfect base for exploration of the Alps. Adjacent bar is also very nice. Parking has sufficient capacity, no problem with that.

It would be better to have a second washing machine and dryer, as it was a lot of time waiting for others' washing to be finished.

The location and views from the rooms were stunning. We enjoyed having basic kitchen facilities for food and the small restaurant across the road. Having free bus services to and from Interlaken was very useful.

The room we stayed is on the 3rd floor. The roof was slanting on one side of the room. My husband is 6"1 and it was difficult for him.

The property is right in front of the lake. We had a twin room with shared bathroom. There were plenty of bathrooms available at all times. It was peaceful and quiet. Beds were comfortable.

Shared facilities not clean, maybe due to the number of people using it - not sure if the issue is with the staff or with people who dont know how to clean up after themselves.

Eeasy and quick check in, very nice an accommodating staff, the hotel sits in the middle of a beautiful village at the very edge of the lake
