Initial early arrival with drop off with my luggage, the experience was unfriendly with the reception desk woman by the name of "Sofia". She was a little rude. The place is being managed by Apen Resort 5 minutes walk away. There is no staffing in my chalet.

Very nice chalet, and the resort likely didn't have the studio for me, so I got a 1-room apartment instead. Very nice and spacious for myself.

European beds were of excellent quality but no optional size pillows (huge ones supplied). Duvet, again high quality but too heavy for season...of course everyone varies in comfort levels and temperatures. If you like heavy duvets and big pillows, you will be exceptionally comfortable. Perhaps you could inquire, otherwise.

Location. Close to grocery, free ebus, and rail station and morning coffee if you don't make your own. Easy walk to the center of action including Gornergrat rail. Economy, very great space and beautiful appointments. More room than expected. Nice balcony ( not a significant view)

It seems ludicrous to provide the apartment address and then to have a notice with directions to walk to another hotel to check in. Surely the logical thing would be to ask guests to walk from the station, past Denner to the Alpen Hotel to sign in and collect keys. We spent double the time, double the distance (+walking with all of our luggage). I am glad the weather wasn’t terrible. This points to a lack of customer care which is really regrettable.

The only thing we didn’t like was the couch in the living room was too small for 2 people. Other than that, everything was great and would recommend!

Lovely apartment, very comfortable beds, peaceful, attached to the Alpen Resort & Spa Hotel where we had breakfast and played tennis one day. Really nice to have access to the hotel with the more affordable apartment.

nothing much check in is in another partner hotel but I’ve been informed about it through message/email many times so its easy to plan ahead.

Fit out a little dated, but very good quality

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. It would be great for a family or 2 couples. Location was good and the managing hotel, Allen Resort & Spa was close by with very helpful staff and luggage lock up facilities.

Construction noise, even though we paid a separate cleaning fee there was a posting in the kitchenette warning of extra charges if the kitchenette was not clean. Either the cleaning fee covers cleaning or it doesn’t! Check in was a pain as you must go to another hotel.

We paid a 100CHF cleaning fee for 2 night stay and didn’t receive any room service, even with their room service sign out. Wifi couldn’t hold a constant connection.

Nothing really not to like but the bath/shower was quite high to step into which wouldn’t suit everyone.

Older but Comfortable apartment with nice character and plenty of room to spread out. Small but functional kitchenette for cooking your own meals. Small balcony was lovely for relaxing outside with views toward the river from our room.

When booking I didn't see that there was a 50CHF charge per person for a cleaning fee once you arrive at the property. This increased the cost significantly. With a 100CHF cleaning fee, we were still expected to clean all the dishes prior to checking out.

We really enjoyed the amount of space in the room and the spa in the sister hotel (extra cost was worth it).

We were there for a day and they took about 50 euros per person, so for the 5 of us for 2 apartments, we pretty much paid double that the agreed price. In all fairness, they had mentioned this on booking.com in small print. But then they should not appear at such low price sorting list when actually it is double the amount, for us for just 1 night. Property seems to have everything and had a legacy feel to it, not modern but with modern equipment.
