Amazing views from our room, spacious bathroom, wonderful spa!

More pillows in the room. My preferred choice would be a more firm pillow.

Location is fantastic. The room with Matterhorn view was amazing. The staff went above and beyond decorating one of our rooms for my mother’s birthday. The spa was great. The breakfast was also outstanding with loads of choice. We had the perfect stay.

Nothing the management had any control over! The prices were Swiss-normal (what we think of as high to very-high for everything including the water), but we are a budget-minded family so that was on us.

La Ginabelle is (was??) a very beautiful new property/spa right next to the river (more on that later). High end fitments and fixtures throughout. The food is excellent, as are all of the staff (again, later). Very close to the railroad station, and easy walking distance to everything (Zermatt is a very small village). The owner of this family business asks every guest if everything is going well, and is very hands on. BUT we were in Zermatt for one night only (6/20/24), and that was the night the rains came...and came...and then melted the snow on the peaks. Zermatt suffered a terrible flood, there has been great damage to the village and many beautiful properties that were close to the river. In the morning the river had swollen to overflowing and most of the bridges had already been closed. The staff worked very hard to get all of the guests to the rail station before all trains and roads were closed. i think we were on the last train out, literally. The owners and staff were very concerned for the safety of the guests, and did an amazing job of getting everyone out. When La Ginabelle reopens, PLEASE stay there. The property is beautiful, and the staff really are wonderful.

The pillows were a bit flat for my preference but you can ask for different pillows if you like.

Everything. The rooms are spacious and gorgeous, very clean and comfortable. The spas are wonderful and so relaxing. We loved the breakfast - it was top notch. Finally, the staff were very nice and helpful. We did not want to leave.

Resort La Ginabelle has great facilities - we loved the jacuzzi, “chill out” rooms and pool. The breakfast here is one of the best in all of Switzerland - amazing and delicious selection of food (and an omelet station!) The staff are also very friendly and attentive.

We don’t have anything unlike the hotel. The only comment is although there are kitchen facilities however this is not available to use . We are not able to cook

Hotel is fantastic. Facilities are all excellent especially the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Staff are nice and friendly. High standards and good service.

Only comment I could make would be that guests might be better informed about what parts of the spa area are included in their stay-only discovered some ‘hidden’ parts on leaving!

Everything. Location was close to station. There are few spa I could use. It was perfect after hiking then straight to spa... what a wonderful way to finish the day. And view from room was spectacular. Clear Matterhorn view from room is speechless.. Then breakfast was so good!! All Staff were friendly and nice.. I will definitely come back.

Unfortunately we had building activities taking place when we were there so our balcony which had a view of the Matterhorn was not fully usable. Even with the doots closed the noise was still significant. This was just unfortunate and no fault of the hotel.

Everything was excellent especially the omelettes. As good as we have ever stayed at.

Buffet Breakfast had a wide range of things including a guy who would cook you eggs on the spot. The spa facilities were excellent and not too busy, nice that they have adult spaces as well as family spaces.

Personally I would prefer to have a little bit more guidance to spa area, however regardless of that, facility is absolutely well maintained and cleaned.

Very friendly staff and atmosphere. It is very much suitable for solo traveller. Enjoyed quality food and the brilliant live music at cozy bar after the long walk.

Staff pushing us to leave the room at 10:59 with the housekeeping coming 3 times to ask to leave the room.

The room got very warm at night. Even setting the max temperature on thermostat to 21 degrees C, the temperature would climb to 23 or 24 degrees at night which made it very hard to get a good nights rest.

The location is perfect, close by the main train station and a quick walk or bus ride to a number of ski lifts. The breakfast was delicious. The sauna and pools were nice to relax in after a long day of skiing. Staff were very friendly and professional.
