Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SingaporeThere is a small table fan but it's not very strong to keep the room ventilated if you keep the windows close. Therefore, in order to keep our room from feeling stuffy, we kept our windows open. Then, we have that random housefly coming into our room quite often and they were quite persistent about staying. Otherwise, it really does not bother us.
Peaceful, safe and quiet neighborhood. Hosts are super friendly and warm, even provided us with special discount cards. The property is located about 5 mins away from the supermarket and 10 mins away from Interlaken West station, making it very convenient. There's a tiny kitchen, with everything we needed to have, in our room to cook up most of our meals since eating out is ridiculously expensive in Switzerland and we refrain from it as best as we can. Bed is clean and comfy, and the bathroom is spotless. We were there in the summer and we kept our windows open to views of Harder Kulm and paragliders.

United StatesThe property and the building are a little old and as a friendly suggestion for improvement, some areas like the floor, door frames, etc need to be taken care of or renewed. The bathtub and specifically the curtain is small. Dishwasher and microwave were listed in the property appliances but there were no dishwasher nor microwave. The hosts were very nice and responsive after I mentioned it and they brought a small microwave after.
The location is great. Very close to Interlaken West train station, bus station and Migros grocery store. The hosts are very friendy, responsive and caring. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay.
