We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThere is no refrigerator in the room; however, there was a common one on another floor that we could use. No ice or ice buckets (I guess they don't like cold drinks in Europe). We had to ask for the bucket and the ice, which they brought, but it was not as convenient as it could be. The outdoor chairs could have been more sturdy (they are not the ones they show in the photos on their website)
Breakfast was wonderful, with a great coffee machine. The bathroom was nice and spacious.

United StatesWhile it wasn't a negative for my husband and I, be aware that the superior rooms (at least ours) did not offer traditional privacy that you would expect in the United States. The shower area was clear glass and visible from the rest of the hotel room. Travelers sharing a room with a non-romantic partner may be in an awkward situation.
There isn't a better location in Murren. The hotel has the best view in town, right on the edge of the cliff overlooking Lauterbrunnen. We booked a 'Superior' room, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast buffet was well stocked with healthy options and self-serve espresso bar. The restaurant had good food, great cocktails and it was the best patio in town. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and loved that the owners were hands-on at the hotel every day.

We stayed in the new premium building. After having a room without a view for one night, we decided to upgrade. When the day is clear, holy cow!!! The new building is clean, comfortable beds, laundry facilities ($). The breakfast was great with a coffee machine for your choice of latte or plain coffee. Muesli, eggs, cold cuts, etc. We loved the location in Murren, off the beaten track from the hustle and bustle of Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken. Could not have made a better choice. If we ever return, we will stay here again without hesitation.

IndiaThe breakfast spread had very limited options. To get Murren you have to take a cable car and then a train. During peak times both get crammed.
The views of the mountain from the hotel and the village itself is awesome. A small department store is within walking distance. Cable cars going to Schilthorn is also nearby. We had a junior suite, it was spacious and had good facilities. The balcony is shared by all the rooms. We had the view of the town on one side and of the mountains from another. We had dinner at the restaurant, there were many vegetarian options and the food was good.
