There is no lift. If you have a big luggage, you have to carry it from the stairs.

The room is very clean and the breakfast is also very good with varieties.

The most picturesque chalet, fabulous garden for lunch or a beer. Room/bed very comfortable. Breakfast really good and staff very knowledgeable and helpful. It's a wonderful blend of old tradional and hi tech.

The hotel is a real gem (we were told it was built in 1666!), full of character and interesting features. Room was super comfortable and very clean! Really loved the restaurant too. Highly recommended!

The laundry detergent for the sheets has a very strong smell (flowery) which caused my husband some allergy issues but at least you know they are super clean

A cozy building with a lot of character. The staff is outstanding. The room was a nice size, clean and comfortable. They have onsite free parking. The breakfast buffet was one of the best of our entire trip. Lot as of options for hot food (eggs, sausage, bacon), cold food (many different cheeses from the area and meets) yogurt and granola, fruits and pastry (which one group took ALL of). Located walking distance to town and the fanicular and train stations. Lovely place to have a home base to visit other sites

There was no lift to the rooms and the stairs were not quite wide enough for someone to carry their luggage up. Nothing the staff can do about it since it was a 300 years old building and they can’t change it structurally.

Cosy, friendly staff and good size room. Breakfast provided were excellent.

Room was good but very warm, needed air conditioning, which staff told was to be installed but not completed in our stay.

Restaurant was excellent. Wonderful dinners and very friendly staff. Braekfasts also great This property is about 0.5km from main Interlaken village, and an easy walk. Glad it was away from the main village which was bustling with so many foreign tourists, and frankly the village did not feel like Switzerland at all, so good the accomadation and excellent restaurant were away from this.

The only negative I can even come up with is low ceilings. As it is a historic building, the ceilings are quite low. They may be a problem for anyone over 6'2"/185cm. Other than that, no issues whatsoever!

The hotel is in an impeccably restored historic building. It has a great restaurant on the ground floor, with a beautiful wine cellar. Rachel, the house manager, was friendly, helpful and very attentive to our group's needs.

Liked every bit of it. Nice hotel, great breakfast with many choices of fruits, fresh breads, eggs, bacon, cereals, jellies. It is an authentic swiss chalet. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this place. The location was great, and it was close to the bus stop to go to the train station.

This hotel has excellent parking including a garage which was great for the bike. It was easy to find. It is not close to the centre itself of Interlaken but has its own high street with restaurants and shops nearby. The staff were excellent as was the breakfast. The room was small with a 3/4 bed for a singly but it was comfy overall.

Room was amazing, Breakfast was exceptional! Unreal value for money. Staff is very nice. Ceilings are low but there is an extra den in every room. My wife and I are super glad we stayed here for 7 days.

The room did get quite hot in the night, not unbearable and still managed to sleep fine though. There was a dyson fan provided and the hotel does appear to be fitting air con in the room so this is obviously known about and being dealt with.

Location of the hotel is great, 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Interlaken. Breakfast was a great fresh continental selection of fruit, yoghurts cereals and pastrys ect. The double room was spotless, and a great size with access to a great balcony. Plenty of parking at the hotel. The hotel itself has great character and has a perfect mix of traditional and modern. We only visited the hotel resteraunt on our last night for a fondue which was perfect and the rest of the resteraunt looked great. All of the staff at this hotel were great!

The only thing would be the air conditioning not working. The rooms do get hot during the day/night, but I believe they are due to be fully installed in the next few weeks.

Breakfast every morning was delicious. And the morning we left, we had to leave early and would have missed breakfast - so the hotel staff kindly packed meals the night before. This was so kind!
