Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very quaint budget hotel with everything you need. Continental breakfast included in the price. Inexpensive hotel on Swiss standards but expensive on Australian standards for what you get. Great location, close to the station.

Location is excellent, very simple clean room, very noisy because facing the main street. Check-in a bit confusing, no staff at the reception. Overall the accomodation is acceptable.

Proximity to the shops, train station, cable cars, situated right in the Main Street. Though simple, good selection of breakfast. The lady owner (I think) was kind enough to ask and served what we wanted for a drink (coffee or tea).

We loved Zermatt - what a place. The hotel is perfect location right in the centre of Zermatt and within a few minutes walk of everything and a balcony to chill out. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We booked Matterhorn Glacial Paradise which was fantastic and would highly recommend - the views and experience are amazing. We also booked a single ticket on the Gornergrat Railway and hiked back to Zermatt again amazing experience with fantastic views and so simple to follow the hiking route.

BelgiumThe room and bathroom were rather small, but since we only stayed for one night that didn't matter much. I imagine if you're staying longer, it might be a bit annoying.
The hotel was close to the train station and budget friendly compared to others in the area, which was most important for us. There was some noise outside at night, but this was to be expected as it was a Friday night and a street with a lot of bars and restaurants. With earplugs it was fine. Nice breakfast and easy check in.
