The bed was horrendously soft, like sinking into a marshmallow. Bathroom/toilet was very small.

Location ok, quiet. Breakfast acceptable. Interlaken is such a fabulous destination with so much to see and experience in a variety of ways. Free local bus travel tickets are available from hotels. This hotel is only 10 metres from the best little bakery in town, pastries etc too enticing to pass up.

Shower didn’t drain well but it was no drama.

Great location, easy walk to whichever part of town we chose explore and to train station. Hotel amenities are basic but good. Beds were really comfortable so we slept well during our stay. We were on top floor of the hotel so had beautiful views. Guest lounge on first floor was handy.

Bathroom may need a bit of cleaning or consider to repaint the ceiling of the shower area as molds are evident and visible.

Location was convenient and close to shops and restaurants. Quiet area. Staff was helpful.

Little bit loud. And sometimes would be nice to have a little bit more cleaning in the room.

I really like the breakfast and the location was also a plus. The hotel has a nice lounge room with microwave and kettle, where you can heat up and eat your own food and thez have also some delicious free snacks which was suprising for me. The staff also kind and helpful.

The air conditioning system, the hot air output was in the bathroom, so it became hot in there.

A little run down, but certainly not terrible. Could use some more outlets that are easier to access (the bedside ones were near the floor, so we ended up charging phones in the bathroom).

Very noisy in general and with guests coming and going at all hours. Dining/kitchen smells noticeable upstairs and near our room. Some mould in the bathroom. This is an historic building and probably difficult to maintain however it was a little disappointing. The staff were mostly friendly although sometimes a little brusque.

Interlaken is an expensive city to stay in - this hotel was reasonably priced and not too far from the railway stations. Breakfast was included but fairly average. There was a pleasant sitting room with tea and coffee/snacks available although at one stage this room was crowded with a lot of luggage.

Make sure you book a double bed. The bedroom was cramped (even for Europe) and had two single beds that were near on impossible to combine. The bathroom needed to be upgraded, especially the shower tiles, which had stuff in silicone grout. The top floor is not accessible by an elevator. It would have been good to know the floor location when booking. The shower stall was small for people over 175 lb.

Location. It was close to Interlaken West Train Station.We wanted a breakfast included place. The breakfast was quite good. The staff was helpful. They were able to eventually get us a double bed. It was an older hotel, not modern, which was nice. They had a common area on the 1st floor that allowed you to eat takeaway food. It was quiet. There was plenty of water for showering.

There is absolutely nothing for vegatrians apart from bread. Room provided to us was small. No idea about other rooms. My interactions was monosyllabic with other staff members which is not helpful for a foreigner. The staff talk English which is a plus as most outside Europe speak, it would be of immense help to people like us if they are more responsive to our queries.

While checking in there was a lady, very pleasing presence. Cleanliness is great.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We didn’t get any sleep. The AC didn’t work properly. It was a stand alone unit in the room that made all kind of noises all night and never cooled the room down.

Great location. The Interlaken West train station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby too. The staff were very helpful.

Afraid I have to follow previous comments - bathrooms are tiny, dark and frankly not clean. While cleaning staff is very kind it seems very slow, my room was never made before 2:30PM and that clashed with returning from hikes in the mountains when all you wanna do is shower and relax and not wait for cleaning…

Outstandingly friendly staff! Really sweet. Great breakfast with many choices that give you a strong base for a day discovering the alps. Very comfortable beds, quiet, slept really well. The common room with a fire place and free snacks is actually very nice and cozy, especially in winter I imagine. Perfect location in city centre but off the noisy streets!
