The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We didn’t get any sleep. The AC didn’t work properly. It was a stand alone unit in the room that made all kind of noises all night and never cooled the room down.

Great location. The Interlaken West train station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby too. The staff were very helpful.

Afraid I have to follow previous comments - bathrooms are tiny, dark and frankly not clean. While cleaning staff is very kind it seems very slow, my room was never made before 2:30PM and that clashed with returning from hikes in the mountains when all you wanna do is shower and relax and not wait for cleaning…

Outstandingly friendly staff! Really sweet. Great breakfast with many choices that give you a strong base for a day discovering the alps. Very comfortable beds, quiet, slept really well. The common room with a fire place and free snacks is actually very nice and cozy, especially in winter I imagine. Perfect location in city centre but off the noisy streets!

The bathroom was small and quite damp and smelled of mildew. There was obvious mould in the shower and the shower head was not quite right and sprayed water out the connections. The room is advertised as having air conditioning which is true however it is a portable unit. Ours worked however the exhaust tubing did not connect properly so we could only utilise the fan function. There is also nowhere for the tubing to go out except the balcony door. We had this open anyhow but it can get very noisy with the restaurants and traffic. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable.

The building had a really nice old charm which we loved and the room was cute with a nice balcony. The location suited us very well and was close by to many shops and restaurants and only a short easy walk to the station. The staff were lovely.

The breakfast was ok, the yogurt was good. The location was ideal with it being close to the train station and in the city center. The staff was hospitable and stored my luggage after checking out so I could roam without lugging around a suitcase. The bed was very comfy.

The shower in our room was very old and the tiles had some black mould.

I liked the old world faded grandeur of the building in particular the dining room. I liked the free fruit and snacks available in our room and the guest lounge. There was a fan in our room initially but this was then replaced by a brand new air conditioning unit. Although the room was in needed of a refresh, particularly the bathroom, I felt that the management were doing the best to make guests welcome and comfortable with these added touches. Breakfast had a good range of self service choices including eggs and beans

They don't have an adapter to charge the Asian style computer ..so middle east guests take care of this point
