The place is SO OVERPRICED and outdated. It's ridiculous. Pillows were the worst I've ever seen in my life. There's no love for this place by the owner, who ever that might be. Pitty...

The view is amazing. The place is really quiet and we loved to cows with the bells in the evening. Some people might find it annoying to listen, but you're in Switzerland. The restaurant served good food with by the nice Sri Lankan man.

No Wi-Fi. Electrical outlets in the room do not accept standard schuko plugs, the holes in them are too small.

The view is fantastic, definitely and definitely covers for the other shortcomings.

bed was unsturdy and pillows/towel where just thrown in the room... I wonder if it was cleaned, but that didn't seem dirty at least... the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly though, spit/snot marks in the sink and pretty dusty.

breakfast was okay, nothing special, not bad - but cheap overall, and great great view from the hotel.

The hotel was still busy preparing the terrace and restaurant, which I could not use yet for dinner.. But from what I understood it would be available soon.

The Hotel had single person rooms, which made it affordable for me. The view from your own balcony over the Thunersee was breathtaking. Breakfast was simple but sufficient for me.

Personally i didn’t like the bed at all, was too hard for my back. And the “Ok” Button of the television remote wasn’t working. Everything else was great.

The view and the location is amazing. The room was pretty and comfortable. The whole hotel is really full of light. And the hotel - cat is absolutely adorable!

Although run down and rooms dated.(but you can see this in the photos before booking) It was clean and very comfortable. The view is amazing. It was a perfect 2 night stay with our dog. They even left a dig blanket for her to sleep on. The one staff member at breakfast was friendly and helpful.

The location was fantastic but unfortunately the hotel needs a major overhaul. The rooms and decor are very outdated. My husband is Swiss and we have traveled to Switzerland frequently from the US. Breakfast was not up to standard, many of the tables in the dining room were dirty and it was difficult to find a clean table.

The view from our balcony was spectacular a definite 10. Upon arrival we requested an extra towel as there was only one in our room and we were a couple our request was fulfilled immediately.

Unfortunately the old building shows its colours when you enter the room you get hit with a strong damp smell and because of this we didn’t sleep very well. I’m sure the cleaner tries to do it’s best but there is only so much you can do when everything is old.

The breakfast was very simple (yogurt, 2-3 types of cheese, and sliced bread (one morning there was croissants but not every day), coffee & tea. The rooms were not updated and the bathtubs had been poorly patched, but for the price, we expected much worse.

The view was amazing. The balcony on our room made up for any flaw. The staff was very kind and accommodating.
