I recently stayed at Hotel A1 Grauholz and had a great time. It's right off the highway, so you'll need a car to get there, but it's close to the city and really quiet. There's a 24-hour shop nearby. It's perfect for short trips. The staff were really nice too. Overall, I'd recommend Hotel A1 Grauholz for anyone looking for a comfy and affordable place to stay.

bare flooring, no carpets in the bedroom; bathroom light continuously flicking; shower had to be hand held (very difficult to use when trying to wash your hair); receptionist charged us for one night's parking on arrival despite us informing her that we wanted two night's parking, then demanded the second night's parking fee as we were checking out.

A bit walking distances from nearest bus stop as I always use public transport during my stay in Bern ( SWiss). The road/Farm field is a bit dark at night. If they put more Road lights, it would be safer to walk to the hotel from bus stops in the evening.

We arrived at the hotel around 9 pm and the service we received by the receptionist was exceptional. We found as a surprise that they offered a free small buffet with juice, cakes, and other snacks, and we could hang out in the big lobby with tables and chairs to eat the snacks. The layout of the hotel overall is really creative and we really liked it.

Check in was easy. Staff is professional, efficient, and helpful. 24 hour coffee machine was great. Parking was secure and there is a nice area behind the hotel for walking. Appreciated being able to have the dog. Even though the property is on the highway it is configured, so rooms are quiet and private. The window screens are also fabulous. The ac wasn't working in the room, but we were promptly moved to a room w working ac. Breakfast was ample and well-maintained. Would definitely stay again.

I had very disappointing situation. I booked 3 rooms for my family with children,and i paid. But they said that they don’t see my reservation in the system.And they did not try to help ,provide for first night extra beds and for the second they remove these beds ,and gave us bedsheets for sleeping on the floor,then check out time charged extra money for these beds and bedsheets for floor!Very terrible situation.Manager very aggressive!

The air conditioner was not working in our room (only the fan works) complained to the staff but not fixed. the same situation even the next day. No Coffie or tea-making facilities in the room even they didn't provide any drinking water. (you can buy a selection of beverages from the breakfast hall) Even though the parking is private, there are people walking through it.

Location (It's Just off to the motorway) Restaurants nearby (limited menu) Parking onsite (paid parking) Family rooms are big enough with 1Double and two Futon Beds Staff speak multiple languages and the breakfast room got good facilities.

AC didn’t work & had to open window with stale cigarette odors all night. We need sheets when it’s this warm- anything else is a roaster. over-priced “buffet” not on property was Indian fare- totally unexpected & too hot.

Location is ideal for people who have car, no public transport here. The taxi is very high price and can't afford it.

It does not have a restaurant therefore guests need to walk or drive to the fuel station’s bar that does not have proper food. We also asked for parking in advance and we were told that the hotel has its own parking but no mention about the 8.9CHF fee.
