Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A lovely hotel, spotless and within easy reach of everything. 30 minutes walk from the station. Near the lake and other attractions. The breakfast was extremely varied and plenty. Staff were friendly.

United KingdomWe had trouble accessing the hotel wi-fi. We did not want to use the credit card option, and never received any SMS texts when we tried the mobile phone option. We were not staying long, so did not follow this up with the reception staff, who I'm sure would have helped.
Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were able to get a kettle and tea things for our room with no trouble. The air conditioning was great, and, although we had been warned of potential roadwork noise overnight, the closed windows kept our room nice and quiet. The breakfast was substantial, with both continental and cooked options, and the waiting staff were very personable. It was easy to leave our cases on the last day, as we checked out at 11am, but had a 9pm flight.

The hotel is in a great location in the city centre, and is very well served by transport connections. The room was a good size and most importantly the team of staff were incredibly helpful during our 5 day stay. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel was very comfortable. The triple room for our kids had plenty of room and little curtain dividers which was nice. Location is walkable to old town, shopping, train, etc.

United StatesThe WIFI in my room wasn't very strong. The noise from neighbors opening/closing their doors during the night kept waking me up so had to put on noise cancelling headphones.
The front desk and restaurant staff were exceptional. Very helpful and friendly. The rooms were good sized, the shower had good pressure and heat. The breakfast was good and beds fairly comfy.

Don't stay here if you want peace and quiet on Thu, Fri or Sat night as all the boy racers in their ferraris and porsches work their way up and down second gear in the 30 kmph street outside, also Booking.com said free airport transfer - that was a hoax, and the hotel tried charging me to use the gym thats connected - again free if you book direct but not if you go via booking.com - all in OK for a business over nighter.
