Dated furniture, no door to toilet, could be cleaner.

Big room, nice with a small balcony, good location coming from Scuol. Breakfast was ok (basically bread, ham, cheese, spreads, fruit, cake, juice, yogurt, toppings and hot beverages)

Old hotel, nice located in a small village in mountain. Breakfast very basic, no fruits, but OK. Be ready to pay in SF on place, only cash.

Cozy place to rest between days of hiking in Engadin.

The price-quality is not ideal, and the village of Susch is too quiet for my taste. There was absolutely nobody in the street, or any other bars/places to be in the evening, other than the pizzeria of the hotel.

The hotel is simple and cozy, ideal if you're just planning to spend a day or two for hiking in the area. I particularly appreciate the old fashioned furniture and decoration. The pizzas from the restaurant at the hotel were absolutely amazing. There weren't too many options for breakfast, but there was a good selection of swiss cheeses.

    Nothing to complain

Huge room for the price paid Friendly staff, even tho I was late for eating in the evening they still made me a good plate of spaghetti Perfect location right at the end/start of the Flüela Pass. It literally starts when you walk out the hotel

Really under a minimum of standards. E.g very old tv with few channels, no bulb in the night lamp at bed, no toilet paper, closed door at the reception, only cash payments possible, the full inventory was on sale (like a pawn shop really, in a hotel!), clumsy host with high sense of drama. She basically only spoke Italian. This is almost funny but not for the price she still dared to ask: 200 chf for a night with 3….not worth more than 100- 120. After 2 nights I was pretty fed up with whole situation…

I really appreciated the breakfast at 5.30. We needed to move early and the host prepared the breakfast early, which I found very flexible.

Extremely expensive for the room provided. The decor was dated but clean. The village is dead so don’t expect any food at night. Be prepared to travel miles for a meal. We had to split up to find anything open. Felt ripped off!

I thought the host was hospitable

No card facilities or ATM and the Hotel only accepted Cash. We had to do a GLOBAL EFT that made the costs more.

Lovely small town with amazing views.

    - Cannot pay with card - Check-in only after 5pm - Very small room - Outdated furniture - Overall the whole building would need a big renovation

Very low almost awful cleanness: black I guess moldy stains on a bathroom curtain and dried out bloody-snotty blotch on one of the duvet-covers. First means that the curtain has been there and not being cleaned for months if not years. Second means that at this property use of unwashed linen is not made impossible - NIGHTMARE!

Personnel cooks for guests which is comfortable since there are no eateries open in the the evening in the foot reachable area.

    The staff didn't speak English.

My method of transport was bicycle (Moulton AM 22.) The Hotel Fluela is a modest inn, with impeccable services. My room wasn't spacious but comfortable and the shower room very functional. Braekfast with very good cheese!

Well-built old hotel with traditional furniture, but good modern facilities. We were the only guests staying, but Betty was a lovely hostess and we were very comfortable. A simple dinner is available, as well as breakfast, which is useful in this remote village where there were no other places open.
