We had an exceptionally restful stay at this hotel. Honestly, we have never experienced such a warm and welcoming atmosphere before. The location is perfect for those who desire a breathtaking view. The staff is incredibly friendly, always ready to offer advice on places to visit. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, with beds so comfortable that they seem to embrace you for a good night's sleep. Finding a hotel with a clean bathroom was very important to us, and we certainly found it here. Being our first time in Switzerland, we were pleasantly surprised and lucky to discover such a spotless hotel right away. The restaurant is absolutely outstanding, with food prepared to perfection and tasting delicious. The owners of this hotel are down-to-earth and extremely kind, always willing to assist you with anything you need. Their genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Adding to all this, the hotel also offers a range of amenities that cater to every need. The complimentary breakfast is a delightful start to the day, featuring a variety of fresh and local products. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way possible. From the immaculate cleanliness to the superb dining experience, and the exceptional staff, everything contributed to an unforgettable stay. This stay is simply amazing. It is in between the mountains and has a beautiful view and beautiful surroundings. Simply loved it. The room are super clean and shared toilets are also kept in a very nice order. Restaurant offers good menu. Staff is very helpful and hospitable. I recommend this stay to everyone who wish to stay away from touristy area yet in a hidden gem of Switzerland.

The location is pretty remote and the closest town did not have much in the way of stores.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Dinner menu was great and prices weren’t too bad. Good value for the price paid.

Breakfast was at 7.30 and it could have been half an hour earlier - many guests started their breakfast a lot earlier even though service wasn’t ready yet

Fantastic location on the Susten pass and great for doing the ‘holy grail’ of Susten Grimsel and Furka driving adventures! We were met by the manager with a huge smile and everything was very welcoming - many guests are returning guest which says it all

Everything, the view was spectacular from any angle, the design of the hotel is very relaxing, super attentive staff, spotlessly clean, and good breakfast. We stayed in the hotel for our evening meal, the young lady that served us, (sorry missed her name) was a gem, so polite and hard working, she helped us with the menu also, as not in English. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

This place is really a gem, great value for money, wonderful location and staff that really blow the perception that Switzerland can't do hospitality. Very friendly, we arrived late after the kitchen had closed and more couldn't have been done to ensure we got some food and drinks in the evening.

Bathrooms were shared for the family room we stayed in. Bathrooms were clean and not short of hot water. Overall not bad.

location is not so convenient, last shuttle bus finished at 6pm. but with car, it's not problem. shuttle bus just stop 10m far fr. living place.

Very clean. Spacious room with bunk beds. Service is good with friendly and helpful staff. We had dinner there. The food is excellent. You can come here on the public bus from the tram station, so don't worry. Drivers are punctual. It's located on a hill with beautiful landscapes, views of mountains, and waterfalls. Very happy with our stay.

A very small room for 4 guests and no conditioner (2 bunk beds, a chair and a shelf in the room) . There was not enough fresh air for a good sleep in a such small space.

Very nice location, a cosy place to stay. Clean. Nice and helpful staff. We missed last bus, staff arranged a pick up for us. Anyway, it's easy to reach this place by public transpost or car.

The bedding was very warm for a hot summer’s day, clearly the lodge is set up best for colder days. Staff were incredibly kind but very rushed.

The lodge is great, the water as fresh as it could be and the surroundings are stunning. The bed was very comfortable too, and the room and bathroom were beautiful. Lovely balcony with Mountain view.

Some extra racking or shelving in the shared showers would be nice, was hard to keep clothes dry with the small railing provided
