Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Australiacheck in was at 4pm which felt a bit late. the bathtub didn’t have a plug so you couldn’t use it as a bath. there was only J type power plugs in the room but i asked reception for a C type converter and they supplied one for us to borrow straight away. the wifi dropped in and out every now and then but it was still manageable
good value for money. they had a really nice backyard space and a balcony overlooking it. what was also good was the complementary cold and hot water always available plus microwave and cutlery facilities. we booked a 4 bedroom dorm for two beds and ended up being the only two people in the room across the three nights we booked, which was a bonus! there was even a band event one night in the courtyard which was random but really fun to watch

Really great place to stay all in all. Definitely funny! This area is incredible and worth giving some time. Match your expectations to the price and you'll have a great time. Stick around late night outside for extra comedy.

The hostel is located in a quiet area close to groceries store and a few restaurants. The view from the outside terrace is magnificent. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Slept in a 6 woman dorms and I was quite impressed by the comfort and the cleanliness of the beds. Bathroom was very clean.

Absolutely gorgeous big building and gardens! There is also a very friendly Saint Bernard who is always up for belly scratches, as well as a very friendly cat too that hang around the property! It has amazing views of the surrounding mountains! The staff were very helpful and polite too!

NetherlandsThe bathroom had mold and the showerhead was broken, spraying water to the top and out of the shower. During the stay the showerhead wasn't fixed, it needs to be replaced and the mold should be cleaned.
Great location, easy to walk to the public transport and you even get a transportation card. The hotel has a nice lobby to sit and relax in and some public usable kitchen space.
