The wooden floor was quite noisy in the bedroom, so it was impossible to not disturb others. Wifi is free, but the signal was weak in the bedroom.

It is a huge and old building, it looks like an old luxurious hotel instead of a hostel. Staff is friendly (including the enormous dog that lives there, such a good girl). Bedroom was spacious and clean, though the old wooden floor is noisy.

We stayed two seperate times and had one room with good mattresses and one with thin. Paid for the washer and dryer and they didn’t work very well. On our first check in we had almost no info from the staff member except where the room was and the second check in we had a lot more info which was great. You might not have a plug near your bed

Just 1 bathroom with shower per room. The matress was terrible. Shower unconfortable and low water pressure. Very few connections for all the room! There is not one connection for each bed

I didn't like the girl at the reception, for some reason she doesn't think it's necessary to say " hello" when a client comes directly to the reception. When i come,i feel like im desturb her in private Hause. I really did not like the fact that there is no lock in the toilet in the shared room for women and men,how/why its possible?

Two guys who worked at the bar on different times ,unfortunately I don't know their names, on the morning and evening of June 20, were very friendly, I asked for help 2 times and they helped me extremely friendly.

What you pay for is what you get. So can't complain. Room and ensuite, worn and tired. Very small.

Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Particularly the young South African barman. Great to sit around the bar and talk to other tourists. Downstairs, lots of old world charm. Close to bars and restaurants. Easy access to Lauterbrunnen by car, bus, or train. Washing machine and dryer. Kettle and microwave downstairs. Great view from our window. Plenty of parking.

The towels are not included with the room, it was necessary to rent it (I guess it was 5 CHF per towel).

The location is great! Next to a supermarket and bus stop. Also is close to the city center, by foot you can walk for 15min and reach it. The view of the room was amazing. There's a great pub inside the hostel with great people!

Everything is a bit worn out, room cleaning during stay could be more thorough, more sockets and a clothes rack would be helpful.

Beautiful Belle Epoque building that features both a hotel and a hostel, lovely garden, animal friendly management, room was spacious and comfortable and quite clean.

The place is huge and stylish, the room was spacious and clean, there is breakfast space equipped in some basic stuff to prepare a meal, there is a microwave and hot coffee. The hostel/hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood

You can argue that the place is a bit old/outdated in style, I liked it, felt nostalgic. Beds could be a little better. Not serious. Got a full night's sleep

In a quiet part of Interlaken, which is a must see town, nothing less. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, huge dog will welcome you in the lobby. Big Lidl down the road. Balcony with an astonishing view of the mountains

The sofas from lobby were not clean. Old furniture's everywhere. The shower was funktioning but not so comfortable. Need an upgrade.

The location was nice. We got public bus ticket during our stay to roam in Interlaken. The Wifi connection was good. Free car parking place was available. Service personal were amazing.

Quite a far walk from the train station (but there are some buses that can shorten your travel)

- Staff was very helpful. - There's a common space on the first floor (reception level) with sitting area and games. But we didn't have time to check it out much. - Room was pretty spacious for a family of 4 with our own bathroom. Bed was done up nicely too.

The toilet was the main issue, it was loose and rocking, almost impossible to use. The room had no locker, the bed frame was not the strongest and not much comfortable. I would recommend it for short stay, have no idea about staying more than 1 or 2 nights.

It's a beautiful building with a wonderful scenery in a walking distance from the railway station. Staff were available and easy to check-in. The room was cleaned well, and the quality of the internet connection was acceptable.

Door to shower was broken/no lock, water pressure in the shower was weak, and the shower is uncomfortable if you're taller than 6ft (182.88cm). Bed sheets seemed worn out.

Location was great, near bakery and bus station. Room was spacious and late check-in was convenient. They gave us bus passes for Interlaken, which was awesome.
