- amazing room with two balconies with a view of the lake - underground private secured paid parking (firstly go to the hotel and then park the car, during the check-out, you can pay for parking right in the hotel instead of parking automat) - great breakfast - clean - quite - location - WIFI - friendly personnel

One day, I was pushed by man who was evidently trying to get to the train station and i fell to the sidewalk. Bleeding from mouth Bumped back of head and backbone. Broke left wrist Taken to hospital in ambulance. Hotel staff went out of their way to help me when I returned.

Our prerequisites when we were searching for a hotel was firstly a very easy walk to the train station with our luggage, secondly a hotel that has a brilliant location for sightseeing, then a room that has a nice view and of course a comfortably spacious room with great beds and room to move comfortably. When one travels from far and it is expensive to travel, you want to get your choices right. This hotel and room 201 and 202 was just perfect for us. Loved this town and was greatful that we had made the choice to stay here for two nights. This was the right choice on our way to the town, Wengen where we would overnight next.

This is a quality hotel and the rooms reflect that. Breakfast was excellent though not a huge variety. View from the room of the river and covered bridge was nice, The town is walkable from this hotel. We were pleased that the hotel participates in the free public transport scheme for tourists.

We did find the room was warm and did have trouble trying to figure out the thermostat. We like to sleep in a cool room, so just opened up the window/door at night to cool down the room, ( as it was early May the temp was cool outside at night so this worked for us.) other times of the year we would have needed help to figure out the air conditioning..

We did not have the breakfast, as we are not big breakfast eaters and felt the price was to high for what we would eat. Location was fabulous, enjoyed the view of the Aare River from our room. Room was very compact but had what we needed. Really appreciated the fridge and Nespresso coffee machine in the room.

Staff were great, very friendly and really helped us. They explained everything so well, including the panorama card. Checkin was excellent and so easy

The room was very warm, in fact my partner and I had some trouble sleeping because of it. It is a bit our fault, we stayed 3 nights and never said anything to the staff (we were barely at the hotel, taking daily trips out to hike, so it didn't seem worth it), but just something to note.

Location is incredible, right in the middle of everything. Our room even had a beautiful view of the mountains and the river so we could watch the surfers. The room was clean and well equipped. We loved the Nespresso machine and the shower had incredible water pressure.

We booked several rooms including 1 small single room. That room has awkward location of bathroom sink, which is beside the bed. I understand that there is no more space in the bathroom. The other rooms are superb though.

The hotel is newly renovated. The facilities, furnitures and decors are all premium quality and aesthetically pleasing.

The location is very good, staffs are very nice . After a tiring day of walking , going around visiting places, all we wanted was to rest and we had a peaceful night with the sound of the river flowing. So relaxing. We would definitely come back with our family.
