Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FinlandThe first morning we got up early and asked for a takeaway breakfast, which I wouldn't recommend, it was very limited. Our room was in the east wing, which was quite a long walk down the tunnel to the main building. There are also stairs on the way. Fortunately, the staff took our bags to and from the room while leaving. I would recommend getting a room in the main building if you want to use the hotel's facilities.
The breakfast was very varied and delicious. The surroundings of the hotel were quiet and pleasant and the location was good, close to the local train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace had a great view.

If you book a room in east wing you should walk in a tunnel for couple minutes to reach the east wing building from the main lobby which was a little bit annoying but not a big issue. You should pay for parking your car in the hotel 30 CHF per night which is the situation on most of the hotels in Switzerland unfortunately.
Very nice and kind staff, good environment, room was clean, there was a washing bidet in the toilet which is rarely found in Europe hotels. Mr Amindra who’s the operation manager in the hotel was very kind and helped me a lot in the reception.

The location was great , we enjoyed the natural surroundings of our room, with the swimming pool and forest-like trees enhancing our stay. It's unfortunate that the breakfast option seemed too expensive at 55 CHF per person. Our input can help future guests make informed decisions and could potentially encourage the hotel to review their pricing. Finally, I would like to thank all the staff at the hotel, especially Manda, who was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Bangladesh- If the room was a bit bigger, I would rate a rare 10/10.
- Location was very close to a train station, and you can very easily go to Zurich HB from there - Beautiful landscape around the hotel itself - Stuffs were very nice - Neat and clean room - Huge bed and TV - Good wifi - Very well decorated room with plenty of light coming in though a large window. I didn't feel claustrophobic at all despite being in a tiny room

We had a really nice time in the Five Hotel in Zurich. We had our room in the east building, which is connected by a tunnel. Since those rooms were cheaper. But for us, that was no problem at all. The room was nice and comfy. It had everything we needed. The weather during our stay was great so we were relaxing outside at the nice pool area. We also checked the indoor pool and Sauna, which were both really nice. On our checkout day, we were allowed to still use the pool. For this we were really grateful! Overall, we had a wonderful time, and we can definitely recommend this hotel. We will come back for sure!

United StatesI rarely write reviews but this one was a MUST. this hotel was nothing but AMAZING. the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the facility and the interpersonal relationship that the staff develops with their guests seeking their utmost pleasure and comfort is no where to be found. A huge shout out to David (concierge) for being only 1 text away ANYTIME of the day to satisfy our needs. Also thanks to Jamal Khaldoun for the best trip plan/advices and the car rental. Again I mention, the STAFF was awesomeee, each and every one absolutely awesome!! and the fascility was superb in every way!
