Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandThe card key was not working properly, we had to try many times until the doors opened. There was not enough light in the room, in comparison with pictures one table lamp was missing, which made a difference. Maybe not so important but when packing we had to switch on the torch to see.

Switzerlandseems people smoke in the corridors and the smell by our room and room entrance was strong (first floor). Coming back to the room at our last night we notice the room service had took the hand soap away and had nit replaced it and the toilet paper was little and there was no extra rolls.

SwitzerlandWe checked out early as we couldn’t stay here- the location was great, facilities were good but the walls are paper thin. There was a large group of men partying until the early morning, banging on our door and banging their skis and ski boots on the ground to make as much noise as possible while singing very loudly and shouting aggressively. We asked them to stop and called reception a number of times. The next day we explained we can’t continue our stay in that building, the only resolution they offered was to move to a higher spec room at an extra cost of 150 a night, we opted to check out but strangely there was no apology or acknowledgment of how awful our stay was.

United KingdomCons: 1. The check in system. Wasn't necessary and didn't like it. Had to fill out some online form requesting FAR too much personal information from me, scan a QR code, and pay before i could get my digital key. 2. The digital room key. What a frustrating faff!! The slider wouldn't work on my phone. WARNING!!!!! IF YOUR PHONE DIES WHILE YOU'RE OUT..... YOU ARE NOT GETTING INTO YOUR ROOM!!!! Luckily, i sent the email with my digital key to my paramour. 3. The noise. We could hear our noisy neighbours come in at 3am and they didn't quiet till 4am. We could hear other neighbours leaving at 7am to go ski. The church bells may as well have been in our room. I did not sleep well 4. The pillows were awful and didn't support our heads. We woke with sore necks We will not be staying here again. We have decided a good nights sleep and delicious breakfast is worth the extra money
Pros: 1. Was cheaper than all the hotels around 2. Good location near to restaurants and clubs and food shops 3. It says "room only hotel" but actually there was other stuff like shower, towels, soap, toilet, even a hair dryer.
