Room service Facilities inside room The furniture is really old making knocking sound while sleeping Washrooms should atleast be equipped with basic need stuff like handwash etc. Breakfast either should not be offered or the menu should be atleast made decent. If this property is managed and properly equipped, the return can be 10x.

United StatesThe WiFi only worked in the primary bedroom - not in the living room/kitchen/dining area or in the twin bedroom. Very frustrating. The bathroom was not sufficiently clean - stray hairs on the floor, etc and a very unpleasant moldy odor. The shower drain ran very slowly, but if we used the shower at about 1/3 of its output the drain could keep up. Note that hot and cold are plumbed backwards in the shower. Overall, it was an unpleasant but ultimately usable bathroom situation.
Location was fantastic. We could see five of lauterbrunnen’s waterfalls right out the window. The stream that runs right outside the window was wonderful to sleep to.

A strong smell of old combined with mold, for the cleaning of the room + bathroom was evident that it was given the minimum amount of effort. For one night it was ok, but I am not recommending more than that.

United StatesI think I was the unfortunate one who got the room with bad reviews. Balcony flooding is evident. Your shoes will get wet inside(despite thick bottom/soles/heels) if you attempt to go in to look at the view/falls, so you have to clean and remove the water yourself from the balcony. It is apparent that they don't maintain the property well as you can see plants already growing in the balconies with standing water and the ceilings' eaves failing because of it. That was only the balcony part. The room part was the drain in the shower was clogged that resulted the water to come out of the shower stall unnoticeably. You would just expect the water to drain properly and not have to monitor where the water is coming out to as long as you're not drowning from it. We suddenly heard noises of knocking at our door saying that it is raining down at their restaurant/kitchen downstairs because my mom was taking a shower (woke the heck out of me). It was obvious that it isn't the first time that happened as the floor moldings where the water came out were gone and damaged obviously from water damage. Drain wouldn't be clogged if it was maintained well. That was the first and last time we used that shower, very inconvenient. And like other reviews said, the shower handle doesn't work so you have to hold it while you shower. Shower doors doesn't close well either as another contributing factor to the flooding of water outside. They've attempted to change the room, but we would lose the balcony. After the plumber fixed the issue, they even attempted to have other customers book our balcony room and transfer us to a non-balcony room. It was weird they tried to kick us out of our original room; did they expect that the next guest/s wouldn't take a shower and hopefully no flooding would happen? Obviously, the hotel is not well maintained.
Location is good. Resto food looks good, but pricey from multiple bill payment witnessing as I wait for receptionist.

Romaniathe lack of staff access to the reservations on booking led to some misunderstandings (I booked the room with a balcony but they were already given when I arrived) the rooms are very simple, there are not even two glasses in that room, two separate beds extremely uncomfortable, it creaks and moves in all directions and when you breathe, with an uncomfortable mattress it's impossible to catch your breath. it's worth it just for the view, otherwise for that price it doesn't offer more than a roof
the only thing worth it is the view of the waterfall (if you book a room with a view of the waterfall) and you have free parking

United StatesThe lack of follow through with the hotel. We barely got into the room with the key the first night, but could not lock the door when we went to bed. So we slept with an unlocked door. There was no working hair dryer in the room. Stains on the wall above our heads when lying in bed. The bathroom has a large loose tile and two of three lights in there did not work. It’s a dark cave! The shower curtain is too short by a foot. I requested help and the only help I got was them entering our room while we were gone - they locked the door, but fixed nothing. Then we could not enter the room that night - lock not working - we got in, but realized nothing else was fixed. Not a great experience. Never saw an employee of the hotel, just a “friend” who unlocked our door for us that night.

No front entrance- had to climb a flight of “fire escape” stairs to enter building, then 3 more flights to our floor. Restaurant closed- we were not warned of this. No chairs on our balcony- I had to carry patio chairs from closed restaurant up 3 flights of stairs for our balcony.

SingaporeThere is no breakfast provided as the hotel starts only at 11 or so and only serve lunch and dinner . No basic necessity like shampoo or soap, no hair dryer or even complimentary water. Rooms are not properly checked if doors are properly working or not. And the stairs to go up is very uncomfortable (particularly the spiral staircase on the first floor) esp if there is a lugagge to carry up.
Generally, the hotel view is really nice (if you have booked with a balcony) and the hotel rooms are relatively clean. Staff are accommodating with our request like checking or changing rooms and waited for us on our 1st day despite its late and beyond their working hours which we appreciate it so much.

SwedenThe arrival: All doors are locked if you arrive before 4pm. It is not possible to call the staff by phone to come in and there was no possibility to check into the room earlier in the day. We had to go into a back way to get hold of staff so we could at least leave our bags and the room wasn't even locked... They do not answer any questions asked on booking.com. The room: You entered the bathroom directly The drain in the shower and the sink were almost clogged. The overhead light did not work. No shampoo. The toilet was tilted. The breakfast: It was overpriced for what is offered. There was no knives and no teaspoons so we had to ask the staff to bring it out. There was no yoghurt, no honey, no eggs and some cerials seemed to be stuck together... The breakfast was open until 10am but they removed everything 5-10min before and told us to leave the room because they would lock it. We still had food and tea left. So we had to take our stuff with us to the room because we were not allowed to stay in the dining room. We have never experienced this outrageous behaviour before. Wifi worked very unevenly It seems that staff are doing their best but they are ruled with an iron fist by the management.
