The location, view, breakfast, dinner, and especially the friendliness of the staff far exceeded my expectations at this hotel. It was the best part of our European trip.

Walking from train station to the hotel is a little long if you take big luggage.

The hotel has heater, and the girl in reception is really nice. Also there’s a place for entertainment and drinks.

The only thing I could say I didn't love was the tiny shower with a bit of a slippery floor in it. I'm only 5-3 and average weight and it felt very tight for me. The room also felt colder than I like the first night and we couldn't adjust the thermostat, but the bed was so warm and cozy it ended up not being an issue after we settled in. Both of these were small issues that would in no way affect me staying here again. This place is a goldmine. The owners and staff care so much about your stay being perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to stay in this area!

We are not big eaters, but breakfast had everything we would want for a nutritious, delicious start to the day. The waitstaff were so friendly and accommodating. We stayed three nights and ended up eating at the restaurant all three nights, which we were not planning to do, but upon speaking to the chef couldn't resist. The dinners were delicious and we thought a great value at 35 euros per person. We loved that they used local, in-season food. The servings were as they should be and not gigantic United States portions. We also loved knowing that the owner of the hotel has a cow whose milk they use to make some of the cheese that's eaten at the hotel. The beds were super comfy and the room quiet. We had a balcony, which I would definitely recommend. The staff could not be any better. It feels more like you're family than customers when you stay there. We also borrowed walking sticks for hiking, which saved us from having to buy any. Very nice! Can't wait to stay here again. Was absolutely the highlight of our two-week vacation in 7 different cities.

The bathroom was quite small but very clean and fully functional.

All staff that we interacted with were delightful, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast variety was quite good. The views from our room (109) were fantastic - I especially liked the cross-breeze we got from having windows on two walls instead of just one. The baby bunnies and their mama in the pen by the garden were so fun to watch!

The rooms were pretty small , but worked out for us because we were only in our room at night to sleep. It was also very quiet which was nice

The Hotel staff were so kind and attentive, Tomas, Daniel, Claudia and Randa. They all worked so hard and were always ready to help with anything. The rooms were always cleaned so well, the breakfast and cooks had a constant supply of food, eggs, an assortment of the best swiss breads, deli meats and cheese, and everything else you might want to put on bread, they also had yoghurt and nuts. We had dinner one night as well at the hotel and it was fantastic, it was BBQ meats and sausage and a buffet of salads. The chef they have on hand was outstanding. By the time we left we felt like we were leaving family, everyone was so kind.

Incredibly welcoming hotel, really felt like a home from home and very relaxing. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and nothing was a problem, we stayed with our toddler and they really went out of their way to help us all have the best time possible. The hotel is great value for money for the half board option and incredibly clean, with lots of areas to relax in and a well equipped children’s playroom and park outside made it fantastic for entertaining the little one. It was a real pleasure to stay!

The bathroom was tiny and difficult for a larger guy like myself to move around in. The single room only had a twin/single bed and not a full/double, but not a big deal, especially considering the price is so reasonable compared to other options in Switzerland.

The staff were fantastic and made my stay an incredible one. They were more than happy to help answer my questions about things to do in the area and were super accommodating to my requests, such as making me a to-go breakfast when I had to leave early before breakfast started on my last day. All of them were very friendly and were a pleasure to chat with. The room was large and had a balcony with a great view of the surrounding mountains. Dinner was available on some nights for a very reasonable price by Swiss standards. The hotel was located only a 5 minute walk from the train station, but it's straight downhill, so be prepared to carry your bags uphill to get back or call a taxi (Which the hotel also seems to be able help with, as I heard them helping another guest with it)

The slopes are a bit of an issue if you have heavy luggage or are elderly.

Best customer service ever. Friendly and accommodating throughout. I came back late from a hike and they kindly extended the dinner hours without a grouch. Lent me a raincoat for a rainy-day outing at Trummelbach Falls. Sorry that I had to rush off to catch the train without saying a proper goodbye!

Beautiful room and views, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast, perfect location, the list goes on :) What stood out to me was I was on my way to a hike and a bit lost and the staff that was going home on her bike stopped and helped me with directions, so wonderfully kind :)

Everything we needed was there. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel both nights and it was great. The absolute highlight was the people. Daniel and Thomas were the most gracious and generous hosts you could imagine. Sarah had us in stitches. We loved the Sauna. It was a perfect way to end a long day of hiking in the region For bonus points, ask Daniel to initiate you with the Snuffmaster apparatus. You have to ask…..

For us as 80 year olds, the walk back to the train station was to much. Althogh the distance was very short, maybe 2-300 meters, the vertical distance up a very steep street was too much for us to drag our suitcases up the incline. We ordered a taxi. But the hotel paid part of the taxi ride a nice +++. Only one chair in a room for two. On a rainy day no place in the room to sit, however, the hotel had a very nice spacious family room and a nice lounge room with coffee and nice couches. Bathroom tiny. Sitting on the toilet like sitting in economy class airplane. Knee only 3" from the wall, but everything you needed was there. Restaurant - Baically only one menu, 3 courses, but cheese fondue was offered if you did not like or could not eat the main dish. Basically everyone in the hotel had to come to eat dinner at the same time.

Reception was excellent. The staff is very, very friendly, and full on all kinds of information. They could work in the tourist office. Facilities - Hotel has lovely garden, with tables and chairs to lounge around. They have a huge family room or open room for everyone. they have a lounge with couches and free coffee. They have a kids room for young children providing games and entertainment. Restaurant - spaceous but got loud when full. Food was tasty. Breakfast was a very nice buffet style. Hotel Room - Very clean, bright, quiet.

I had a wonderful stay and regret I didn’t book more days. It is usually fully booked. It felt like home and staff were so nice and welcoming. The beautiful view was like wonder world and location is amazing. Hiking was good. I like Wengen so much and I hope to come back again.

Getting to the hotel is a long walk, especially going back to the train station with luggage was a nightmare! It would be nice if the hotel offered a shuttle for their guests, like other hotels. Guest will really appreciate it. The only thing about the room that was a little uncomfortable was the small bathroom. Another thing that I would improve is breakfast. It is very scarce with not a lot of options. Better fruit, scrambled eggs with bacon and pastries would be nice. On the contrary, dinner was very good and the fondue was one of the best we had in Switzerland! Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very nice, especially inside. It is impecable and very well maintained. The staff are all very welcoming and go out and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Our room was much better than expected with a magnificent view!
