I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Faern Arosa Altein, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! One of the highlights of my stay was the spa. The facilities were pristine and beautifully designed, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. I indulged in a variety of treatments, and each one left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. The skilled therapists were attentive and ensured that I felt completely comfortable throughout my sessions. The sauna and relaxation areas were also a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. - the room was not super clean, some hair on the bed and in the bathroom - bathroom very small - some amenities are a bit dated, especially outside around the pool

- great location, close to the small lake where we went for a swim - I think our room was one level better than the one we have booked, really nice - game room was perfect, we had some fun there

The room could have been a little bit bigger for more comfort. What we didn’t like was that there was no place in the bathroom to place toiletries and creams. Making the shower + toilet combo feel cramped.

The consistency and quality of the property was great. Also the possibility to charge your car was welcome! The road to the property was narrow and brought some adventure to the trip. The bar and restaurant at the topfloor are absolutely awesome with briljant views, drinks and perfect diner.

I was in a room on the north side, and unfortunately there was road workers starting at 07:30, requested if there was a possibility to switch to the other side of the hotel and they so nice about it and no problem at all.

Not enough clothes storage space very small hanging area and 2 high shelves (one too high to reach!) no drawers - not great for a skiing break. Poorly thought out storage when recently refurbished. Nespresso machine provided in room, but we have never been charged for replacement coffee capsules in any other hotel (you have to buy them at reception) and this frankly seems mean given the cost per night for a very compact room.

Fabulous view from the balcony, very peaceful location. Staff friendly and helpful. Clearly recently decorated and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed the pool and spa but it’s a shame it closes at 7pm. Skibus stop not far from hotel.

Parking lots are really tight for big cars.

Very good location in the middle of the city centre. We could already use the parking very early in the morning to go skiing. Breakfast buffet was also very good.

The bar used to be in a different place, and was much nicer and cosier than now, please consider to change that again. The game room (billiard, kicker, flipper, table tennis,...) is great, but it is just so packed that it is no longer a pleasure to be there. This was much better before the renovation took place when this was spread over multiple rooms.

It is close to the ski lifts, which is rather important.Staff is very friendly and helpful. The view from the rooms with balcony is superb.

Unstable and slow wifi. No daily refills of coffee capsules in the room. You need to buy additional ones at the reception. So bring your own coffee!

Beautiful retro Alpin-style hotel but modern. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Beautiful view from the room with balcony. Ski lifts within walking distance.

I really have no comment specifically. When we felt a bit crowded between families at dinner time we requested a table change and we were placed at another table of our choice with no problem.

We were accomodated with everything we needed with friendly service and smiles. No one was stressed and all were efficient. We could hardly believe we were in Switzerland. The room was very comforable with a a lovely balcony view. Plenty of room in the bathroom for toiletries and bathrobes. Enough closet space for the heavy clothes and floor space for suitcases and shoes. Even the guests were relaxed and friendly in this atmosphere.

Water could be a bit warmer for my taste in the pool (personal opinion). Also, I asked for a comb at the reception, usually hotels have, but there was no (and neither in any shops). So dont forget your comb!

The room is great, the bed is comfortable and the view is amazing, big balcony, good temperature, clean, cool modern facilities, great delicious breakfast, big spa, sauna with non-naked and naked area (which is very rear and i really appreciated it). Very helpful staff, great bar with good cocktails.

The beds & pillows were uncomfortable; making the stay a little less pleasant. The “spa” needs to be relocated. The massage/treatment room is literally in the fitness center. Just a closet tucked next to the weights. The entire massage, all I could hear was grunting and weights being dropped. In addition, the masseuse wasn’t tracking what I booked & seemed flustered, someone knocked on the door & tried to enter mid-massage; the music being played was on Spotify & an ad popped up during the treatment, her phone would ding with incoming messages, she knocked over the massage chair…. Hectic and not relaxing at all.

The views from the room were phenomenal. Breakfast was good. A nice variety of options & had a few gluten free options which was appreciated. Pool facilities were nice - our daughter really enjoyed the lazy river when it would pick up current.

Good modern hotel with variety of services included: spa, pool, gym, game room, tasty cheese fondue option. Helpful personnel. Nice view on the mountains and a town from our and most of the hotel rooms.

I would not recommend having half board. Nothing wrong with the food, though portions were on a pretty small size, both in the main resto and on the top floor. The service team was super kind and hard working, but the managerial decision to keep them at the minimum capacity meant all was delivered pretty slowly.

The location could not be better in Arosa, especially if you come with a dog. Since one can rent a ski depot by the lift, there is no trouble walking a few minutes to the lifts :). We had a 2nd floor corner room, spacious and quiet, while our son was in a single with more than plenty of space as well. He did, however, hear the neighbours… Wellness again better than I saw in the feedback - the flow of guests very manageable and possible to avoid crowds easily. Sauna well heated and maintained (ask for some water if in doubt) - all what is needed. Yes, possible to step outside on the snow afterwards!

Little to none closet space to store the clothes during the stay. Slightly further away from the slopes, requiring either some walking or taking a bus to the slopes. The parking capacity was extremely limited.

Enough room for all in our family and the dog. Great views from the windows and balcony. The restaurant offered a great and easy solution for our dinners and breakfasts with good quality and good selection. The spa was nice and comfortable and well suited for some fun with the children.
